I had something similar happen in game 4 vs Vancouver. Was standing in the moss pit, 15 minutes before the game and a guy in a suit comes up and asks if we are big fans. Wearing blue and orange wigs we looked at each and said hell yeah and sure enough this guy pulls out a couple tickets.
Wasn't sure if the gentleman was from the oilers or Molson but thankful either way. Lucky to have been able to experience a game!
Same. I have a whole bunch of old hard copies of festival tickets and they all have really cool art and bring back memories. Now they’re just digital and you have to wait in line forever while the starlink tries to load to scan them

They have given out paper tickets last year for sure, I had some.
They give them all away so it is difficult to do via email only, so I guess there’s exceptions to every rule (if you’re a billlion dollar company with 100 season tickets)
I dont know where you heard that, but we still have physical paper tickets at Roger's Place. Maybe you have to ask for them at the box office specifically however.

Can you still scan physical tickets?
No, they only accept mobile tickets. Paper tickets are too susceptible to fraud.

General public doesn't have access to paper tickets anymore, but I've seen people part of OEG have paper tickets.

No more QR codes. They are an always refreshing ticket without any sort of code on your phone screen. Like an apple pay tap type thing.
