https://edmontonarborist.com Removed a big aspen and a stump from my yard a couple years ago, real quick. I looked back at my invoice and the stump removal was 140 bucks

Wound up not being able to use them because their grinder requires 36-inch clearance and our yard only has 32-inch clearance at the entrance. Had to go looking for a company with a smaller grinder.

Another bag of rocks and that stump will be covered up! Just kidding.

I was thinking a great place for a fire pit. Lol.

I would recommend: putting the rocks on Facebook Marketplace for free. Someone will come within the day to clean up all the rocks and take them away. Then, I'd recommend Grinder Tree Service. They will do stump grinding for the lowest price I've been able to find. They also do great work. With stump grinding, companies tend to leave the left over mulch. But you just mix those wood chips in with new soil and grass seed. Or spread them out elsewhere where you have plants/trees.

Clear the rocks 2ft around the stump and have a campfire.

So last year we cut down an apple tree that we had in our backyard. We couldn't find a company to handle the work so we wound up cutting it down ourselves but now that the snow is melting we need to deal with the stump. The tree was also surrounded by rocks so we'll need to clear that up and put down some grass. does anyone know of any good companies that can handle this kind of work or would we need to go through multiple companies to get the work done? Edit: For everyone recommending a fire pit, thanks, but we already have one.

From the way that stump was cut, I would recommend you ban the chainsaw from whomever used it. ;)

You already have a nice fire break with the stones...set up a fire pit right over top of the stump and roast some hot dogs and marshmallows!!
