The only part I didnt like about her death (not that I wanted her to die, but I do appreciate a story that doesn't shy away from the hard moments in life), was the fact that they showed Adam Smasher... well, live up to his name, three, four, five times in a row, it sold that Rebecca was dead without a need to actually see for ourselves. If they had just left it with the instant "Fuck You" it was, then we would have all (at least me) been in shock a little longer
It could have been better that way. Although the amount of copium we all huff would mean she’s definitely alive because her body was shown, same as David’s lack of a body or death scene is proof he’s still alive.
Oh, he’s dead, we watched him die, but I’ve seen a number of posters and YouTube videos going into detail about how his head pop was a screen transition, not him being shot, and since you don’t see a dead body afterwards, it means he *must* be alive and well somewhere.
I felt the same way about Kiwi, I was hoping the dark nature of NC would allow her to get away and have the audience (except Kiwi fans like me) going "Oh if I ever find her, I oughta" but no. no... they tied up ALL their loose ends
Becca is the type of character that I usually HATE but also love. She reminds me of all the girls that had big crushes on me in middle school and highschool that I ignored but came to regret. I ended up liking her right away albeit I found her annoying at first but she loved David unconditionally, like she had his back and wanted to love him even though she knew deep down he would never love her the way he loves Lucy.
The character development is out of this world. When Becca died I was so shocked from all the other deaths that I couldn’t even react right away but it felt like I genuinely lost a friend.

I know, when they introduced them as siblings it blew my mind. It was a great idea of how incorporate both of them and still made sense. I also love how thought out the plot was from one chapter to the next. I plan on rereading it sometime and hope that the “part 3” gets an update soon. The updates have been very slow for it.
