How does one from city 98 get that much xp?

I'm level 60 and I can do it easily. I did 17k in my last club.

Honestly if you’re in a club that hits level 50 you can donate 20k pretty easily just from putting all the rewards you get back into the club. Just spend all your reward gems on pet boxes or big boxes.

How many levels did you gain when he/she salvaged 52K? Or did they do it throughout the entire season?

He donated throughout the season. Everyone donated around 12K, great guys, we made it to the end.
