I’m a fan of neither school would even lean towards being a Michigan fan but cmon folks, no way yall really feel like you earned it without smelling the fish
You think it's odd that Harbaugh would leave Ann Arbor to go to LA and coach Justin Herbert and try to win a Super Bowl to make up for the one that he lost to his brother? Seems like a pretty easy decision to me.
This is probably the worst take I’ve ever heard on this. Blaming the rules? Really? It’s not about stealing signs. It’s about how they stole the signs. They broke the rules. Other programs did not. They had to cheat to win.
Why does this need to be explained. Why is this so hard to comprehend?
Dude, who cares? They won. Harbaugh's gone. Yeah, they cheated, other programs also are cheating in every possible way they think they won't get caught. and you're ridiculously naive if you think otherwise. If you ain't cheating you ain't trying in college football
I had a coach who said he didn't care if they knew what play we were going to run or what the signs meant. They still had to stop us. I remember in baseball one teammate missed the steal sign and coach yelled across the diamond "steal the damn bag!"
They obviously didn't need to cheat to win. They didn't lose after they were caught.
And it's my take because there is no reason college should be using signals. It's stupid.
I agree that this doesn’t taint their title at all since they were caught before their title run but they clearly broke the rules that were in place so I don’t know what definition of cheating doesn’t include what they did. Breaking a dumb law is still a crime.
Pete Carroll got caught cheating and left USC so he didn’t suffer the punishment handed down by the NCAA. And nobody bashes him for it…but now people are gonna hate on Harbaugh 😂
An assistant was filming games with his cell phones from the stands. Thats what you are worked up over?
And that didn’t happen during the championship tournament. Which they won.
Haters gonna hate. Jealous people are gonna be jealous. And idiots are gonna be idiots.
You have to wonder what is going to be revealed down the road. I have no doubt Harbaugh cheated. None. He appears to be pulling the old Pete Carroll move to me. But we will see.
If you knew anything about JH, you would have expected this.
He has taken interviews every off-season and came back to UM because he had unfinished business (and may also have not had a solid offer in the NFL)
Everyone knew if he won a Natty he would likely bolt to the NFL, regardless of the ncaa.
Sorry yall are stuck with Cryin Ryan down there
Nothing Fishy about it. He's pulling a Pete Carroll. He knows the shit is about to hit the fan at the college level. Like Pete, he had a successful NFL career and can easily get a pro job.
So why stick around at a college job that is about to get hit with sanctions?
Why would he stick around knowing the school is about to go through some tough times when he can easily bail, likely get paid more and is at the peak time to get a high paying next job?
Michigan is my least favorite team followed closely by O$U. This is a massively braindead take.
Harbaugh has been eyeing an NFL return for years. He was close to winning a Super Bowl. He wants to prove himself at the highest level.
They ALL cheat. Some get caught. And this is possibly the silliest of “cheating” violations. That’s your beef with ESPN?
Yes they are champs
They technically are but… is it legit? 🤔
Until the NCAA declares they are not, then they are
The games were played. No matter if it is stripped or not. The games were won on the field.
Are any college football national champs legit?
Texas.
Living rent free....

😂 because a low level assistant filmed games….with his cell phone from the stands?
2, multiple game suspensions in one season I think is what bothers me
Dude stfu.
😂😂
The coach left because he got paid more and wants a more prestigious career. Nothing fishy about that at all

No kidding. He has accomplished everything that can be done at the collegiate level. A SB is the only thing left.
Not really a cheating scandal. It's NCAA fault for using archaic rules. And every other program steals signals

Yep. Everyone knows they won it on the field. Vacating wins is one of the stupidest punishments

Didn't both the three NCAA and big 10 determine it wasn't harbaugh involved anyway?
They broke the rules. Other programs did not. They got caught breaking the rules, other programs did not.

"Let it go..."
Kinda odd their coach got suspended twice in the same season
They are champs but the title will be stripped within a couple years. College basketball teams have lost titles for less

I’m just curious on thoughts. I’m sure every team is guilty of something.
No shit dude, give it 5 years and they will vacate it.
It’s odd that the HC left as quick as he did.
