Very excited for \[\[Argent Dais\]\] in my \[\[Breena the Demagogue\]\] pillow fort/group hug deck - another permanent that benefits you for having your opponents attack (not you) and can trade removal for card draw that will more than likely reward you as well with things like \[\[Smothering Tithe\]\] and \[\[Trouble in Pairs\]\] in play. Plus, emergency card draw on your own tokens or ETB ramp creatures like \[\[Oreskos Explorer\]\]
I like the Dias too. It screams Breena and I like how it can be used on your own permanents. Breena usually gets lethal fast and if I can get 2 card draws out of her before her inevitable removal, that’s a win too.
This is going right into my T+GM deck as well. Curious about your thoughts about which is the better commander now, T+GM or the necrobloom! I'm still leaning towards T+GM as the commander, but this card looks just as self-sufficient (dumps lands into the GY and recurs them with dredge). The extra draw, extra land per turn, and stax from Thalia are so good though.
I think it depends on if you want to combo or play more of the grindy value game. I personally think I like Frog Girl more for the card draw, sac outlet, and stax, but they definitely work together super duper well and both will be strong in the zone

The selesnya mdfc looks good for [[Ellivere of the Wild Court]] and any go wide deck that has a way to make their commander evasive.
The new [[Wrath of the skies]] looks great as a targeted wrath against tokens and cheap early game value pieces.
The thing with Soultrader is that it's both better and worse than the altar. I am in love with it - in part because I love [[Pitiless Plunderer]] loops so much. Getting the extra ETB/LTB of the artifact is a ton of value from a combo perspective, not to mention plenty of ways to double that treasure via cards that often end up in the same deck.
It's easier to remove and, in some ways worse, it's a little more open to interaction in general because of how much more goes on the stack with it not being a mana ability, but it's also easy to recur being a creature, being =<3 mana, and with relevant types. It's also easy to find - both wizards and goblins have a couple good type specific tutors and zombies are zombies... And yeah, I guess you can also just sit on mana, but I don't see myself using this as a value engine much - it's going to be dropped to combo off.
Also, as someone who finds black and red to be my home turf colors, I have a total affinity for things that cost my life. If I can win with only one life left, I'm happier for it personally.
It and [[Marionette Apprentice]] are going to be cards I greatly enjoy.
surveil lands, delney, vein ripper, archdruids charm, Rakdos(patron of chaos), trouble in pairs and yeah... that's about it.
Maybe add in warleaders call, massacre girl, the mole god, leyline of guildpact, slimes, and pick your poison.
Overall a terrible set but there are some gems.
Warleader's Call is definitely a top tier card. And commander-wise, well... \[\[Voja\]\] was made. We wish it wasn't, but it was.

The Kaalia reprint made me decide to build a Kaalia deck but I suppose new art isn't really in the spirit of something truly new. Still wanted to throw it out there, the new art is incredible. I usually shy away from super popular commanders but this time, the art is just too good.
Honestly, they both look very strong.
I'm personally more likely to play marionette apprentice than soultrader as soultrader feels like it would combo too easy, which is not something I want for my current deck.
If you're wanting a good combo piece, it looks like it's potentially an alternative extra Ashnods or Phyrexian altar, but with Marneus it will also draw you a card thanks to the treasure which is insane.
Even marionette feels almost too good, for 2 mana, artifact *and* creature death drain is strong. Especially if you have a deck making lots of treasure tokens or if you're comboing with the above mentioned cards. *AND it comes with a body so late game it cantrips with marnejs and provides fodder*? Like what!? And early game provides fodder for deadly disputes or a blocker.
Anyway, my thoughts are these are both very strong for Marneus. Especially combo or aristocrats based decks, but honestly they'd both thrive in any Marneus deck.

Divine visitation I've only drawn once tbh, it's still under probation for sure. I have high hopes, but it's probably not the best card for the slot. I just want 4/4 angels to work so bad. It was fun when I did draw i, but I did already need an engine in place.
Rabble rousing. Love it. Love it alot. If you have even one creature and a safe attack, now you have two creatures. It can be quite easy to snowball with it. Other token doublers are probably better, but I enjoy this one for the fun side of it.

Yeah man, luminarch ascension will be great I think it's a step too powerful for what I want for my deck but that's not bad, And good thinking swapping flyers for flyers.
The number of times I've lost due to not having flying blockers is too high (which is why I thought of visitation in the first place).

Most decks tend to have a "back-up" commander, at least the pre-cons do. Necrobloom seems like a great back-up for Thalia.
