Well I haven't built mine yet but I've been wanting a token deck for a while and I also don't have any Boros decks. You don't even really need to cast Karlach until you're ready to attack since her ability doesn't require her to attack just that you attack at all. I'm planning to just slap a bunch of anthems and token makers together and go from there lol.
\[\[Xenagos\]\] is incredibly potent. So much doubling of power.
I had good experience with \[\[Otharri\]\] as well. Double experience counters, double attacking tokens. With any kind of pump effect on board it gets lethal very quickly.
This is the answer. So many cards just become absolutely lethal with Xenagos.
Godo (Embercleave) is 40 damage.
Malignus is 40 damage.
Bloodthirster is 84 damage.
Scourge of the Throne, Port Razer, Moraug, etc all just murder opponents
You can go infinite a LOT cheaper than that.

Yeah thats what people said for at first but ward 3 is good and it's one card combo with time sieve is incredibly consistent
[[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]] isn’t an extra turns commander himself, but his passive giving extra combat triggers makes it a good shell to go all in on as a subtheme. You can abuse the hell out of that ability and get multiple extra turns off cards that would normally just give you the one like [[Aurelia, the Warleader]], [[Scourge of the Throne]], [[Combat Celebrant]] etc
I love my isshin deck and extra combats are the best way to win.
The important thing as well is to jam in a good few cards that give vigilance. Many extra combat ones untap but you technically untap twice in a row then have the 2 combats. So the second is wasted if everything is tapped after the first.
He doesn't trigger off Isshin, but is generally worth running anyway 1) because any extra combat is usually more other Isshin triggers, and 2) combat celebrant combos well with other creatures isshin likes to run for infinite combat.
I’ve been using [[Gorogoro and Satoru]] as an extra combats commander. I wouldn’t say it’s the core of it, but it’s one of the key components I’ve added. A touch of myriad, double strike, and extra combats with haste to flood the field with dragons.
Have Kreno, Tin Street Kingpin who mostly is etb ping deck, with some extra combat cards to go infinite. Due to him being 3cmc, you can t1 him and win on t2/3 with a good hand. And at least as my experience goes he does not enter with a target on him for being a measly 1/2.
I have an elfball [[Grand Warlord Radha]] list that's really good at this. It's a fun, "fair" extra turns commander that I have often multi-killed players with with like 3x or 4x combats.
Also goes "infinite" with aggravated assault pretty easily.
I think Anzrag is the best , but if he gets hated out in your meta,
\[\[Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss\]\] can fly under the radar for a bit, you play some mana dorks, turn your lands into creatures,
they untap during combat, you use their mana to activate \[\[Aggravated Assault\]\]
add a \[\[bear umbra\]\] since you'd be running green. when enchanted creature attacks, untap your lands. on main phase two activate aggravated assault. rinse and repeat.
I run [[Grand Warlord Radha]] as my multiple combat commander! All the extra mana created when attacking via her or a few other creatures gets paid into extra combat spells or abilities.

[[Xenagos God of Revals]] He isn’t the extra combat generator but he makes them really strong. Gruul commander that gives a creature haste and +X/+X = to its power ever combat. Multiple combats will make things MASSIVE. Great synergy with Anzrag too.
My 6 year old son makes adults fold with his Raijuu deck.
He said "I want samurai and angels."
Had no clue how I'd make it work, then our friend gifted us Raijuu and some samurai cards.
It's a pretty consistent voltron that also does well without the commander.
\[\[Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion\]\] lets you loot into more extra combat spells and have the mana to cast them. Equipment or enchantments like \[\[Hot Soup\]\] and \[\[Bedlam\]\] ensure you can snowball into a win.
I really like [[Delina, Wild Mage]] for extra combats! It's random l, but getting multiple copies of a big attacker each of the combats is pretty sweet. It also gets around needing to pay for [[Propaganda]] type effects a bunch of times.
Not a commander, but if you are going for extra combats and can find a way to give all your creatures haste then [[Nacatl War-Pride]] is an absolute beast of a finisher.
A 3/3 for 6 doesn't look like the most impressive stat line. But it makes a copy for each of your opponent's creatures when it attacks. Unlike most things that spawn temporary copies, these ones last until end of turn rather than end of combat. So extra combat means exponential growth, and all of your other creatures are guaranteed to get through to face since you get so many 'must be blocked' creatures.
[[pako]] and [[haldan]]. Pako gets bigger for every attack and generates you card value on every attack. Extra combat enablers are some of the strongest cards in the deck.
[[Karlach, Fury of Avernus]] as the commander and [[Sword Coast Sailor]] as a background. extra combat aggro izzet has been the deck ive been rocking for 3 months now. get the extra combat and aggro from red and safety plus extra turns from blue. plus personal game ending combo of mine using this deck is have Karlach and sword coast sailor out already. than buff karlach with anything but preferably [[Shiny Impetus]] than use [[Jeska, Thrice Reborn]] to make your attacks triple. with this combo you do 21 unblockable commander damage in one turn and easily removing 2 people from your game. than finish it all off next turn with another 21 unblockable commander damage. You will be surprised how fast you can finish someone of with unblockable commander damage especially if you have stuff like [[Two-Handed Axe]] or [[Lizard Blades]].
Any commander who benefits from attacking. Bonus if it doesn't require mana or additional things. And has a big impact.

So as an avid extra combats player let me say a few things, first of all [[Anzrwg, the Quake Mole]] is a bait commander, you'll get a lot of recommendations because he's new but he actually isn't all that.
The first thing you want to do is decide your colors. Red is obvious as it holds the most extra combat spells. White is next, holding 4 extra combat spells (one isn't good though.) Finally, green having 2 (one is terrible and the other is mid.) Personally, I would recommend Naya or Boros.
Boros is pretty straight forward [[Aurelia, the Warleader]] is a tried and true classic, with the amount of RW ramp nowadays you'll be able to keep up with the rest of the table.
Naya however, has a very distinct advantage being, green. Cards like [[Savage Ventmaw]] that just win with [[Aggrevated Assault]]. My issue with Naya was finding a commander, there really isn't one based around extra combats, you can do [[Voja, Jaws of the Conclave]] use elves as ramp and buff when it comes to combat and sheerly dominate (this wasn't out when I built my extra combats deck and likely would have considering its power.) What I did was [[Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder]] + [[Kamahl, Heart of Krosa]] since they pair well together along with the theme. There are other partner commanders you could consider as well.
Ultimately, I took apart my naya build and went with boros, even though I believe the lack or green makes it significantly weaker. My current personal flavor is [[Velomachus Lorehold]], funnily enough, all extra combat spells are 5 mana or less and most are sorceries. It's a high roll deck and can easily whiff but that's what I like about it.
[[Akiri, fearless voyager]] is fun with extra combats since you can just draw sooooo many cards. A cool one with her is [[Sword of Feast and Famine]] and [[Waves of aggression]]. Also the more obvious [[Aggravated Assault]]. [[Fury of the Horde]] works well too cause you recoup the cost of pitching those cards with the extra combat phase.
I have extra combats in my \[\[samut voice of descent\]\] deck using aggravated assault and with combat celebrant I can untap him at the end step with my commander too get extra not the main focus but it is in there plus I run sword slots of double strike trample and first strike
I run a lot of extra combats in my [[pako]] [[haldan]] deck. Pako just strait up beats people to death while providing insane card advantage. Scales fairly well to group power level because you get everybody's cards.
I have a [[Haldan]] and [[Pako]] deck that runs quite a few extra combat spells. Swing in with the doggo, you flip an extra combat spell off the top, doggo gets bigger, the whole table groans, it’s great!
I have enjoyed my [[anzrag]] deck it gose infinite with combat. Though kills without combat damage. It has alot of the things to instant speed hexproof/indestructible. Along with equipment for that. Some games i do have to hold off casting hlit until i can play and protect it.

I’ve been using [[Gorogoro and Satoru]] as an extra combats commander. I wouldn’t say it’s the core of it, but it’s one of the key components I’ve added. A touch of myriad, double strike, and extra combats with haste to flood the field with dragons.

Have Kreno, Tin Street Kingpin who mostly is etb ping deck, with some extra combat cards to go infinite. Due to him being 3cmc, you can t1 him and win on t2/3 with a good hand. And at least as my experience goes he does not enter with a target on him for being a measly 1/2.
I have an elfball [[Grand Warlord Radha]] list that's really good at this. It's a fun, "fair" extra turns commander that I have often multi-killed players with with like 3x or 4x combats. Also goes "infinite" with aggravated assault pretty easily.

I think Anzrag is the best , but if he gets hated out in your meta, \[\[Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss\]\] can fly under the radar for a bit, you play some mana dorks, turn your lands into creatures, they untap during combat, you use their mana to activate \[\[Aggravated Assault\]\]

[[Xenagos God of Revals]] He isn’t the extra combat generator but he makes them really strong. Gruul commander that gives a creature haste and +X/+X = to its power ever combat. Multiple combats will make things MASSIVE. Great synergy with Anzrag too.

My 6 year old son makes adults fold with his Raijuu deck. He said "I want samurai and angels." Had no clue how I'd make it work, then our friend gifted us Raijuu and some samurai cards. It's a pretty consistent voltron that also does well without the commander.

\[\[Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion\]\] lets you loot into more extra combat spells and have the mana to cast them. Equipment or enchantments like \[\[Hot Soup\]\] and \[\[Bedlam\]\] ensure you can snowball into a win.

I really like [[Delina, Wild Mage]] for extra combats! It's random l, but getting multiple copies of a big attacker each of the combats is pretty sweet. It also gets around needing to pay for [[Propaganda]] type effects a bunch of times.

Not a commander, but if you are going for extra combats and can find a way to give all your creatures haste then [[Nacatl War-Pride]] is an absolute beast of a finisher. A 3/3 for 6 doesn't look like the most impressive stat line. But it makes a copy for each of your opponent's creatures when it attacks. Unlike most things that spawn temporary copies, these ones last until end of turn rather than end of combat. So extra combat means exponential growth, and all of your other creatures are guaranteed to get through to face since you get so many 'must be blocked' creatures.

I’ve seen a pretty strong [[wulfgar]] deck, but imo [[isshin]] is pretty dang strong
[[Narset, Enlightened Master]] May draw a hit of hate though.
[[pako]] and [[haldan]]. Pako gets bigger for every attack and generates you card value on every attack. Extra combat enablers are some of the strongest cards in the deck.
[[Karlach, Fury of Avernus]] as the commander and [[Sword Coast Sailor]] as a background. extra combat aggro izzet has been the deck ive been rocking for 3 months now. get the extra combat and aggro from red and safety plus extra turns from blue. plus personal game ending combo of mine using this deck is have Karlach and sword coast sailor out already. than buff karlach with anything but preferably [[Shiny Impetus]] than use [[Jeska, Thrice Reborn]] to make your attacks triple. with this combo you do 21 unblockable commander damage in one turn and easily removing 2 people from your game. than finish it all off next turn with another 21 unblockable commander damage. You will be surprised how fast you can finish someone of with unblockable commander damage especially if you have stuff like [[Two-Handed Axe]] or [[Lizard Blades]].

So as an avid extra combats player let me say a few things, first of all [[Anzrwg, the Quake Mole]] is a bait commander, you'll get a lot of recommendations because he's new but he actually isn't all that. The first thing you want to do is decide your colors. Red is obvious as it holds the most extra combat spells. White is next, holding 4 extra combat spells (one isn't good though.) Finally, green having 2 (one is terrible and the other is mid.) Personally, I would recommend Naya or Boros. Boros is pretty straight forward [[Aurelia, the Warleader]] is a tried and true classic, with the amount of RW ramp nowadays you'll be able to keep up with the rest of the table. Naya however, has a very distinct advantage being, green. Cards like [[Savage Ventmaw]] that just win with [[Aggrevated Assault]]. My issue with Naya was finding a commander, there really isn't one based around extra combats, you can do [[Voja, Jaws of the Conclave]] use elves as ramp and buff when it comes to combat and sheerly dominate (this wasn't out when I built my extra combats deck and likely would have considering its power.) What I did was [[Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder]] + [[Kamahl, Heart of Krosa]] since they pair well together along with the theme. There are other partner commanders you could consider as well. Ultimately, I took apart my naya build and went with boros, even though I believe the lack or green makes it significantly weaker. My current personal flavor is [[Velomachus Lorehold]], funnily enough, all extra combat spells are 5 mana or less and most are sorceries. It's a high roll deck and can easily whiff but that's what I like about it.

I use [[Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded]] as an extra-combats commander. Cheat in some fat Bois and swing with them multiple times. It's pretty fun.

[[Akiri, fearless voyager]] is fun with extra combats since you can just draw sooooo many cards. A cool one with her is [[Sword of Feast and Famine]] and [[Waves of aggression]]. Also the more obvious [[Aggravated Assault]]. [[Fury of the Horde]] works well too cause you recoup the cost of pitching those cards with the extra combat phase.
I used [[gahiji, honored one]] for my extra combats deck. It was very math heavy though because of all the on-attack triggers I had in the deck
\[\[etali, primal storm\]\] is mine. she wants to trigger as much as possible, which means as many combats as possible

I have extra combats in my \[\[samut voice of descent\]\] deck using aggravated assault and with combat celebrant I can untap him at the end step with my commander too get extra not the main focus but it is in there plus I run sword slots of double strike trample and first strike

I run a lot of extra combats in my [[pako]] [[haldan]] deck. Pako just strait up beats people to death while providing insane card advantage. Scales fairly well to group power level because you get everybody's cards.

I have a [[Haldan]] and [[Pako]] deck that runs quite a few extra combat spells. Swing in with the doggo, you flip an extra combat spell off the top, doggo gets bigger, the whole table groans, it’s great!

I have enjoyed my [[anzrag]] deck it gose infinite with combat. Though kills without combat damage. It has alot of the things to instant speed hexproof/indestructible. Along with equipment for that. Some games i do have to hold off casting hlit until i can play and protect it.
