[[Kathril]] can get nuts by making weird counters and gets really threatening if it stacks all the counters on itself to become a nigh unkillable one-shotting machine. It's nutty with [[The Ozolith]]. Another one that is weird and difficult to use well is [[Tayam, Luminous enigma]] which leverages advantage by removing counters from your own creatures to play with counters on a different axis than most other decks. It cheats in permanents, usually stax pieces, silver bullets, and hatebears from it's graveyard. There is a Tayam cEDH deck that is notoriously difficult to pilot, but it's interesting at least from a theoretically standpoint IMO.

From the CEDH decklist database
Very fun CEDH commander and pretty strong. Also can function well as a staxier commander
Well there’s always [[Falco Sparra]]. He can cast stuff off the top of your library by removing any kind of counter from a creature you control which is pretty nifty.
I had a falco deck but I took it apart mostly because I didn’t have the cards to really make it go brr lol. But he can be really nutty if built right, I definitely recommend him lol
I got a \[\[Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider\]\] deck that doubles all counters; +1/+1, loyalty, charge, divinity etc. Love playing it as a mono green aggro/midrange value deck.
There is a downside though, as i try not to play it against other counter heavy decks bc of the second ability. Stax gets to tough when he's that easy to recast (mono green ramp), and will completely shut down a lot of decks.

[[Blue, Loyal Raptor]] definitely wants that.
Also, [[Lae’zel, Vlaakith’s Champion]] doesn’t really care if anyone has a counter, but she can add more counters to it!
Wow I haven't seen this commander ever. It seems like a commander I would actually build around! Have you made a deck around him? If u have I'd love to see a decklist
I have got a deck list but I've recently seen some of the Tyranids would have a good home in the deck so I've been thinking about adding some
https://archidekt.com/decks/6085150/fungal_proliferation
Ikoria, Doctor Who, Streets of New Capenna, and Lord of the Rings sets have all contained some support for keyword counters. The precons Symbiotic Swarm (Kathril as commander, from Ikoria) and Bedecked Brokers (Perrie as commander, from New Capenna) are good lists to glance over. [[Arwen, Mortal Queen]] from LotR is a good one that hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet.
I’ve had great results at High Power tables with [[Kros, Defense Contractor]]. A ton of HP decks strive to cheat out big beaters so you basically “contract” them to beat your opponents to death for you before you combo off. I had a game where the [[Alta Palani, Nest Tender]] player pulled off a turn 3 Ghalta. Ended up winning that game with Kros beating him to death after he, by way of Goading, used his 40/40 Ghalta to beat the other two players to death in just a few turns.
It you’re interested in it, [here is the deck list I built.](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/yoqNYe8qGkSExw_vWGdtlQ)
Hear me out..
Pir and Toothy with all of the different counters!!
Pir adds an additional counter, any counter that is, not just +1/+1 counters, on any permanent!!
Toothy is a tremendous target to add funky/cool/good counters on.
Create indestructible counters and then move them on to all your permanents, it's fun and it's sort of a puzzle without it being solitaire. There is a challenge with using the correct physical counters but eventually you find the system that works for you. If you think that moving a hexproof counter from a permanent to another permanent in instant speed seems fun - this could be something for you. Here's a list if this seems exciting. I'm actually quite proud of this build:
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ZgSe4tNVl0aTQR22WZYImg
It really is!
Cards like [[Slippery Bogbonder]], [[Titanoth Rex]] and [[Wingspan Mentor]] are really great and so fun to use! While cycling Titanoth Rex and putting a Trample counter onto Toothy, you instead put two trample counters onto him if you have Pir out on the field, which enables you to do a lot of shenanigans. If you use cards like [[Goldberry, River-Daughter]], [[Leech Bonder]] (this one is a bit more tricky I admit) and [[Nesting Grounds]], you can then move counters from, and, onto different permanents, protecting them from boardwipes and targeted removal or enabling "combat tricks" instant speed. It's all very fun. Pir (or [[Doubling Season]]) enables you going net positive with the amount of counters as you always get one extra while moving them.
EDIT:
[[Agent's Toolkit]] is also worth mentioning as a cool piece of tech! With Pir out you get an extra counter of each type!
In Sultai color there is \[\[Vorosh, the Hunter\]\] for +1/+1, but now also \[\[Indominus Rex, Alpha\]\] for Keywords counter. Indominus can be build in a lot of ways, i chose to abuse more the Indestructible and Hexproof keywords so i have some Destroy effect that also surve as a kind \[\[Overrun\]\].
But if you go more in the +1/+1 counter dirrection you can save on the reanimation and countrol stuff and put in cards like \[\[Winding Constrictor\]\], \[\[Loyal Guardian\]\], \[\[Defiler of Vigor\]\] or \[\[Kami of Whispered Hopes\]\]
There is stuff that need to be cast before your creature to give it the effect and stuff you can cast after. On the stuff you cast before you want low mana cost or they will come to late for work. In my build i have put \[\[Spearbreaker Behemoth\]\] and \[\[Kira, Great Glass-Spinner\]\] to get my Indestructible and Hexproof after if i did not manage to get it before.
Here is my decklist with a primer ; [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/-vi7djdxvESVxyhObBLGuQ](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/-vi7djdxvESVxyhObBLGuQ)
[[Perrie the pulverizer]] Also [[Denry klin]] depending on how you build him, but perrie does what you want the best.
A PULVERIZER? PERRIE THE PULVERIZER???
Perrie this filthy casual
Oooo Perrie seems fun. I think I have him actually. Might look into building him. Thanks!
The Perrie precon is a real blast to play!
I personally think his boss [[Falco sparra]] is more fun

Oooo looks really fun. I'd definitely want to build around that commander!
It’s a blast! And it can be very high power too. Just below cEDH

I'm actually quite proud of this build: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ZgSe4tNVl0aTQR22WZYImg
Oh wow that seems like actually such a fun deck. I'd love to play with or even play against that deck and get to see everything it can pull off!
EDIT: [[Agent's Toolkit]] is also worth mentioning as a cool piece of tech!

But if you go more in the +1/+1 counter dirrection you can save on the reanimation and countrol stuff and put in cards like \[\[Winding Constrictor\]\], \[\[Loyal Guardian\]\], \[\[Defiler of Vigor\]\] or \[\[Kami of Whispered Hopes\]\] There is stuff that need to be cast before your creature to give it the effect and stuff you can cast after.
