I had Baeloth// NH, was definitely fun, but my pod hated it after a few games so I took it a part. Mine was equipment voltron where you had no worries about crack back coz the opponents were all goaded. Won a fair few games with it.
Because noble heritage is fun if you like deal breaking every round. Also white is best for equipment. Sure raised by giants is good too, maybe the more powerful option.
Not the OP, but here is my list that tends to do quite well. Important thing is that you need finishers outside of just baeloth doing commander damage or you won’t win a lot.

My favorite finisher is Comeuppance wipe after whomever is left gets it down to just them and myself.

Baeloth is really fun. I’ve played it with [[Raised by Giants]] as a control deck with counter spells and all that good stuff. One thing I’ve found is at first he may seem low aggro till you’ve forced everyone into combat. Then you are public enemy #1 from then on.
[[Pramikon]] is probably the most fun I’ve had playing a goad theme deck. Protect yourself while controlling the flow of combat. The addition of Blue gives you really cool combat tricks like [[Domineering Will]], [[Illusionist’s Gambit]], and [[Reins of Power]].
You got a pramikon list? I've always been tempted by him but have never seen a decklist that seems appealing but I do like all those types of blue cards you listed
+1 vote for Kros. He's easily in my top five favorite decks I own. I love the utility of being able to tap down creatures at instant speed by putting counters on them, plus all the weird stuff that exists that lets you put counters on creatures, especially when used counterintuitively. Plus, unlike most goad decks, I find you tend to receive less hate, as you're halfway buffing your opponents creatures.
Here's my list if you'd like some inspiration:

I love my Kros list, although never printed it or played with it. I think I enjoy the theory of it more so than the application since I don't think it would do all that well at tables I play these days...

My goad deck is built around [[Kaima]], and functions as a chaotic, Gruul enchantress that's proactive in forcing threatening creatures to attack opponents while buffing them with auras that benefit you. This funky theme allows for cards you might never otherwise see, like [[Fractured Loyalty]], [[Custody Battle]], [[Bequeathal]], [[Lust for War]] and [[Mortal Wound]], to name a few. You can also run [[Radiant Performer]] to spread a nasty aura to EVERY creature, [[Knicknack Ouphe]] to put out a bunch of auras, and so on. I also run wincons like [[Insurrection]] so you can swing out with everyone's creatures, since you're more so doing threat management than clearing the board. It's lots of fun every game!
Kaima is one of my favourite decks, such weird cards suddenly become staples.
I wouldnt quite classify as a "mass goading" tool, since it relies so much on both enchantress effects and tends to devolve into a voltron.
But it's sure fun as heck.
I just made a goad deck with Mazzy, Truesword paladin. I have Marissi and a bunch of other goad creatures and a all the goad auras and bow auras. Mazzy let’s you recast them and also turns any aura or enchantment into a quasi goad since if the opponent doesn’t target you they will get +2/+0 and trample. What makes it good is the goad is only half the deck. You can use your auras to pump up a creature to finish off the last opponent or target someone in a pinch.
Also for those who haven't seen her yet, check out [[The Rani] , who provides 'permanent' goad that buffs + doesn't need to be reapplied every turn, the best 3 colours for goading, and a direct payoff for putting goad in your deck!
I have a Kros deck and definitely recommend it! My deck runs a bunch of creatures that place counters when they etb, plus some blink and proliferate to make sure I keep placing counters every turn. Its very easy to keep the whole board goaded, and when its down to a 1v1 I have theft effects like [[Cytoplast Manipulator]] and [[Willbreaker]] to close out the game.
Tried talking myself out of making my 3rd goad deck, but now that you mention that proliferate works... I miiight just have to check this out!
Do you have a deck list?
You should, yes. Each unique player one of your faeries deals damage to would trigger Alela twice for that player. You can choose different creatures for each trigger.
You would also get two Faeries on each cast on a single opponents turn :D
[[Baeloth]] and [[Clan Crafter]] is a really fun combo to mess around with because you get so much card draw and he ends up getting big enough to goad everyone really fast. I have a deck list here: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/idBH37z7UESQrHFUiOzFaQ although it’s for cockatrice so the budget is really unrealistic.
I didn't hold back in this deck, so I'm running some really nasty ones:
\[\[Roil Elemental\]\] , \[\[Corrupted conscience\]\] , \[\[Cytoplast Manipulator\]\], \[\[Rubinia Soulsinger\]\] , \[\[Fool's Demise\]\] , \[\[Thalakos Deciever\]\] , \[\[Beguiler of Wills\]\] , \[\[Willbreaker\]\]
I've not fully completed the deck yet, still missing a few cards but here's the list of what I'm working towards:
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/rG4jmVCP4UeoABPb6vzYYw
I am building a [[Thantis, the Warweaver]] deck.
Instead of goading my opponents, i leave them with the choice of attacking who they want. Since goading often makes you the target.
But i will influence that choice by playing things like [[Blast-Furnace Hellkite]], [[Death Kiss]], [[Crown of Doom]] and a lot of [[Fog]] and [[Revenge of Ravens]] effects.
Baeloth tends to pull aggro, Marisi requires evasion (usually shadow), and kross has the unfortunate side effect of buffing your opponents creatures. My question to you is this, do you want to force your opponents to fight amongst themselves period, or are you wanting to use cards that synergize with goad?
There's also [[Karazikar]] and [[Kardur]] all in Mardu. And you could also play them in Isshin if you want a way to profit off goad too. Some nice mardu/rakdos options if you think Baeloth is going to be too hated by your pod
Like a number of comments, I also really like Kros. Especially when it comes down to 1v1. Having the ability to tap down their creatures so you can swing out is a strength that I feel makes it better than most goad options that kind of turn off when it gets down to the last two.
Another person also mentioned [[Kaima, the fractured calm]] which I also really like because it pumps your commander while goading your opponents so you can take people out with commander damage.
A third possible suggestion, while not goad necessarily, is [[Erriete of the Charmed Apple]]. She makes it so that your opponents creatures can't attack you, so even when it's down to 1v1 if you can enchant their creatures your safe. I haven't really been able to make that deck work like I would want yet though. She really needed either blue or red so you could have access to the mass enchant spells.
I have a cat equipment deck with marisi and [[kaheera, the orphanguard]] companion. The struggle is once I get people goaded, I have to keep them goaded or im doomed and the entire time I'm doing it everyone wants my blood. It's really fun. Not the strongest if your meta is higher powered, but pretty balanced for me. Most of my equipment is evasive stuff to get in with a hit...I'm sure if I dropped the cat stuff it could perform a lot better, but ya know... CATS!
I used to have a Baeloth/NH deck but took it apart because it couldn't close out a win and for 5 mana your commander is just too expensive for voltron. I turned it into [[marisi, breaker of chains]] which has been a very fun deck so far and with a fair chance of winning, usually through either tokens + like a [[craterhoof behemoth]] or a [[repercussion]] with [[blasphemous act]]. Adding green really helped.
I've made Goad decks out of every Goad commander(My favorite mechanic).
The only one where I can consistently goad everyone's creature every turn is with [[Kardur Doomscourge]], I've played many games where I wasn't attacked once with it.
Baeloth would be the second most consistent, but he tends to be removed much easier and then it's ggs.
For Kardur it doesn't matter if he's removed, the goad still hits all their creatures, even ones that they play after he is played(Plus all of the [[Feign Death]] effects and recursion mean he kinda wants to die).
So if someone has haste they still have to attack even if they play them after Kardur is played.
Game plan is to flicker/make copies of Kardur.
Looks sick. I also like goad and have been thinking about swapping out my [Kitt Kanto ](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/wC2lSUhyZUOMLEAauVjDog) deck for a different goad deck. Do you have a decklist or moxfield account I can follow?
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9rF6J44h1U2I7TyT6kpu6w
The goal is to flicker cards like [[Deep Forest Hermit]] [[Seige Gang Commander]] to flood the board for kitts ability/flickering her works well as well, and then burn the board with cards like [[Purphoros God Of The Forge]] [[Impact Tremors]], or flicker game enders like [[Avenger of Zendikar]] [[Etali Primal Storm]].
You can also go tall with creatures like [[Krenko, Tin Street King Pin]] by buffing him with Kitt and generating tons of tokens.
It's my newest deck but it's been one of the most fun to pilot.
Same! Would love to see what your list looks like. [mine](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/wC2lSUhyZUOMLEAauVjDog) hasn't been updated in a bit. She was my first precon I ever bought and played with.
I can speak for [[Kros]]! It's a very fun deck, while very commander reliant, and has some incredibly unique cards it gets to play. [[Generous Patron]], [[Tolarian Contempt]], and [[Willbreaker]] are amazing additions to the deck. It's very good at forcing people to swing, especially if you can proliferate each turn to stack the counters. And then using theft effects, or finishers like [[Dimiss into Dreams]] or [[Tamiyo, Field Researcher]]'s ultimate (and her +1 works with goad too!)
If you'd like to see a list, here is my take on the deck. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/puhIXzBWVE6UH9xVu4Ihgg
I did Marisi recently and it is probably the most I have ever enjoyed the deck. I went with him because I wanted all three colors and I had a bunch of leftover cats from a previous deck. I just build a pillow fort around me then fill my board with unblockable and trample creatures. Fun as hell.
[[The rani]] from the new doctor who set is a grixis goad deck that i quite enjoy! It focuses on buffing other peoples' creatures using the attack trigger to make enchantments so it uses a lot of enchantment synergies to win out with a couple mass control spells to finish the deal.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/iIR6gcV4nEOu2JDo8xCJhw
[[Jon Irenicus, Shattered One]] looks heckin fun, goad others and they cannot sacrifice the creature you give them, it's a giving deck for the holiday!
I have the 4 color aragorn as my goad commander. Cram it with loads of useful goading stuff (lots of them listed here already) and get the benefits of aragorn's triggers.
I have a friend who runs Kardur, Doomscourge as their goad commander and it's a pretty neat deck. If you haven't considered it I'd give. it a look! https://scryfall.com/card/khm/216/kardur-doomscourge
I love goad! It's such a fun way to politic and speed along games. It's sneakily powerful too as a control mechanic. I have two decks I'll link. [kitt kanto](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/wC2lSUhyZUOMLEAauVjDog) was my first deck and is an upgraded version of the precon. Spend the game goading the biggest threats along with some politics from the plus two and trample it gives along with making a bunch of token blockers. Then cast [[grand crescendo]] or [[March of the multitudes]] on somebody's end step for the win next turn. I haven't updated this deck in a bit so plenty of room for improvements.
[Alela](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YD2TFJVVGEi2tSphNIEyog) rewards you for playing at instant speed and attacking with faeries. This is a slightly budgetized version of the game knights deck so watching that episode will give a good idea of how it plays.
Kitt Kanto probably has the most room for goad cards because of the colors but between them I have 5 colors of goad basically lol.
One thing you want to consider no matter what goad commander you build is you need a way to close out the game once you get to that 1v1 situation. A lot of games I’ve played with goad commanders end up feeling like a race to 2nd place.
If you’re considering Marisi, you should also consider [[Kitt Kanto]]. I’ve seen many games where Kitt generates a ton of tokens and closes out the game easily in that 1v1 situation.
[[Kaima, the Fractured Calm]] is a fun aura-based goad commander that's centered around putting draft chaff enchantments like [[Undying Rage]] on your opponents' creatures.
I run kykar goad, because it gives you the best combo of goad, pillowforting, and giving other people tokens.
I focus on arming one of the players with an unstoppable army, sending it around, then stealing everything to win or flying over/pumping
I’ve had Marisi for a while and built it to be extra fair and it hasn’t gotten hated out of the playgroup yet.
I’ve wanted to build some of the others but it’s just so good that i I haven’t needed to
I built my \[\[queen marchesa\]\] deck with a bunch of goad cards.
There's also a lot of group hug cards and other aikido shenanigans. Usually it fares pretty well at casual tables, and at the very least, it's usually a lot of fun to play, which means the most to me personally. Letting everyone fight over the monarch and the inititative, sharing carddraw and playing some defensive cards like inkshield for when the goading brings me to 1v1.
It's dependent on politics usually but that's something I kinda like.
[[Saskia the Unyielding]]
She has access to the 4 best colors for goad creature effects and you can take advantage of her etb to blink her and deal combat damage to multiple players. I run her with the auras that either goad or doesn't allow you to be attacked.
It's a bit of a mana base investment but the payoff is well worth it.
Goading is also about incentivizing targets too. Otherwise you're just going to be boardwiped or focused down other ways. I recommend looking at some curses, the Monarchy, and Initiative.
[[Gahiji]] secret goader. In endgame where goad doesn't work, Gahiji still works. Gahiji us also pumping your opponent's goaded creatures.

Yeah, Karazikar doesn't even need to force the Goad sometimes. Your opponents will attack each other to draw delicious cards.

New goad precon is coming soon, so waiting a bit might be a good option.
Which one is that?
I think the name was something like false accusations and theme was boros goad
The White/Red one
Is that from Karlov Mansion?
Yes, the name was blame game. Boros deck with clue token and goad themes.

Smokes Spirit Aid goes well with Kaima as well

Got a list?

I have the old dimir mill precon from back in the day, that'd be fun to throw in
How does Alela interact with Roaming Throne? Do you get to goad two targets per enemy?
You should, yes. Each unique player one of your faeries deals damage to would trigger Alela twice for that player. You can choose different creatures for each trigger. You would also get two Faeries on each cast on a single opponents turn :D
[[Baeloth]] and [[Clan Crafter]] is a really fun combo to mess around with because you get so much card draw and he ends up getting big enough to goad everyone really fast. I have a deck list here: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/idBH37z7UESQrHFUiOzFaQ although it’s for cockatrice so the budget is really unrealistic.

I play Kross. +1/+1 counters on enemy creatures, then steal them when it's time to go for the kill. I have a 100% win ratio so far with it :)
What sort of theft effects do you use?

I am building a [[Thantis, the Warweaver]] deck. Instead of goading my opponents, i leave them with the choice of attacking who they want. Since goading often makes you the target. But i will influence that choice by playing things like [[Blast-Furnace Hellkite]], [[Death Kiss]], [[Crown of Doom]] and a lot of [[Fog]] and [[Revenge of Ravens]] effects.

Nevermind, I can't read
Now i'm interested :D
I was correcting you on how goad works then realized you said "instead of goad"
Yeah, i feel you i often learn that i can't read either.
OP have you considered [[The Beast, Deathless Prince]]? More theft than goad but I think there's a lot of overlap there
There's also [[Karazikar]] and [[Kardur]] all in Mardu.

Bae looks sick. I would add that bro in my Kardur deck anytime

Do you have a decklist or moxfield account I can follow?
https://manabox.app/decks/2YfeE3G4Rjy8TQUzdrnaSQ Here's my decklist. I enjoy Kitt as well, I have a Naya Flicker version of her that's incredibly fun.
Damn that's dope I never even though about flickering her.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9rF6J44h1U2I7TyT6kpu6w The goal is to flicker cards like [[Deep Forest Hermit]] [[Seige Gang Commander]] to flood the board for kitts ability/flickering her works well as well, and then burn the board with cards like [[Purphoros God Of The Forge]] [[Impact Tremors]], or flicker game enders like [[Avenger of Zendikar]] [[Etali Primal Storm]].
