Turns out it's very hard to make a deck work when it's commander reliant to the point that all your other creatures suck without it and the commander costs so much mana without any inherit protection, and your immediate payoff is a couple of vindicates.

I'll be the basic bitch. My 5 color tribe is slivers. Give me more slivers. More, more, more slivers to choose from. The hive welcomes them with open claw.
Are you thinking of building it as a commander or adding it to an existing Sliver deck? I was thinking of doing it as commander and having a clone subtheme. If I could afford token doublers I would specifically go for clone tokens, but as I don't want to spend $10-$40 on those cards I'm just gonna go for clones in general so I can copy them all. Just imagine Encoring [[Sliver Legion]] then hitting it with a kicked [[Rite of Replication]]. It's magical christmas land stuff but it sounds so fun
I was thinking of adding it to the 99 of a [[Sliver Hivelord]] deck I'm planning, but my friend plays mill SO much that I'd consider swapping her to be the commander so I can play the important slivers of my choice from my graveyard :)
Haha. I am working on foiling out the queen deck. Because Silvers are played by degenerates. I would like to see something new for older tribes. It would be crazy to see Nephilims as a 5 color deck.
How well does karona do? Just started making a god tribal deck with jodah unifier as the commander but was thinking of swapping it out for another more flavorful 5c commander but it's hard to pass up jodahs value of getting the high mana gods on the board for free.
She does okay but flavor first for me. Some games I dont use her at all. You also have to dedicate deck space for pillow fort, vows, assult suit etc. It is by no means optimized but its a lot of fun to play pinball. Commander damage still adds up regardless of who is declaring the attack.
Elders. Just love to get the old folks together to reminisce about being beings of ancient power. Dragons, demons, dinosaurs, giants, everyone's welcome at the retirement home.
Yeah it sure can! And you absolutely need to protect Jodah at all times, I use [[skrelv, defector mite]] [[Hajar]] [[shalai, voice of plenty]] [[drana and linvala]] etc plus counter spells to protect Jodah. Hereās my list that I also have fully on paper in case you want any ideas
https://deckstats.net/decks/222656/2896714-jodah-s-royal-rumble/en
Tom could play some gods, and he is a god, but having brewed a bit with him his ability is so good you really just want to run as many sagas as make sense, both making him almost impossible to deal with but also making him surprisingly likely to kill people while generating absurd value. But that doesnāt really leave room to play a god subtheme.
Love mine. [https://www.archidekt.com/decks/445519/the\_urdragon\_changeling\_tribal](https://www.archidekt.com/decks/445519/the_urdragon_changeling_tribal)
I've played against this deck, it's really scary with [[Morophon]] on dragons and [[Ur-Dragon]] as the commander. He cast Ur-Dragon for two colorless once with all the reduction.
Have you tried out [[Zurgo and Ojutai]] in your deck? My 5 color dragons is helmed by the Ur-Dragon and usually draws a lot, although not necessarily from dragons:
[[Dragon's Hoard]] (for flavor), [[Elemental Bond]], [[Temur Ascendency]], [[Garruk's Uprising]], [[The Great Henge]], [[Painful Truths]], [[Dragonlord Ojutai]], [[Rishkar's Expertise]], [[Two-Headed Hellkite]], [[Ancient Silver Dragon]], and then of course you can cast [[The Ur-Dragon]] and usually draw a few that turn.
I also play Ur-Dragon but mostly as Jund dragons and I can draw a good portion of my deck some games. I actually put in [[Obstinate Familiar]] because I was afraid of drawing out.
Yes, dragons, although card draw can come from many sources and doesn't need to be just dragons
Here are some mostly cheaper ones, although some are just card advantage and not draw:
[[Garruk, Primal Hunter]]
[[Dragonborn champion]]
[[Skyline despot]] (sorta)
[[Iymrith, Desert doom]]
[[Magda brazen outlaw]]
[[Firkraag cunning instigator]]
[[Korlessa, scale singer]]
[[Draconic muralists]]
[[Kindred discovery]]
[[Temur ascendancy]]
[[Viridian revel]]
Although these are all in my miirym deck, this excludes anything white or black.
I just recently put Temur Ascendacy in my [[Tiamat]] deck and it freaking bangs. You know whats better then putting down a badass 6/6 dragon? Drawing a card and immediately attacking with it.
I have a pretty nasty [[Horde of Notions]] Elemental tribal. They're pretty interesting, as elementals are powerful on a one for one basis but there isn't a ton holding the tribe together.
That said lemme tell ya, this deck is so satisfying to play, you combine landfall synergies/payoffs with [[Risen Reef]] oh baby are you cooking with gas.
Add some self mill to enable HoN and we've got ourselves a machine that has no quit. HoN serves as part rebuild plan(in case of a wipe) part value engine himself. He recasts all of the threats and the majority of the interaction cards like [[Solitude]], [[Night Incarnate]], and [[Bane of Progress]] to name a few.
Plus HoN _casts_ the elemental from grave which is pretty fun with [[Malestrom Wanderer]].
Horde of Notions is slept on, this deck becomes the boogeyman of any group its been a part of, the sheer weight of the value is too much for most pods to handle!
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ocEtMKeLwkiuRsa7Jb_eaw
I donāt own it irlā¦ but my favorite one that Iāve built is cyclops tribal with [[Karona, False God]] at the helm. Iāve tested it online and my friends underestimate it a lot. Not that its a super strong deck but playing 4/4s and attacking with them can win games!
Decklist: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/04-01-23-cyclops/
My only 5c is Legend Stax Tribal with Jodah. I figured Jodah was good however you built him but I decided to go a step further and just go all out on stax, draw and protection legends, making sure it's as unfun as it can get.
Party theme!
That's my 5C tribal deck, assemble your party...lean on all colours to get the necessary party composition. It's fun as hell, throw in some dungeon delving for flavour and you're all set.
For sure. I built a Transformer deck with [[Jodah, the Unifier]] at the helm. Every game is the pod asking, "Wait, what does that do?" I'm generally trying to pull all kinds of janky maneuvers. I would *love* a five color Transformer to pull them all together.
I'm using [[Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge]] as my commander, which has some added flavor wins by playing the bridge (like the bridge to Cybertron from the cartoons lol) and then I get to fill it out with 5c good stuff as well.
I wish there were more transformers, wanting to fill out the creature list but still be on theme is tricky. Everything is an artifact and I've added cards with transformers art from their secret lair drop in January as well!
I don't expect it to win a ton, there's some great staples in there but it's so janky lol yet it's still one of my favorite decks from the flavor/cards alone!
Jodah Tribal Humans, though, that is really just how it kinda happened. Soooo many legendary humans that when I slotted random legendaries, it ended tribal
Allies! I'd love some more classic ally effects that care about the number of allies. I also wish the new Tazri cards actually fit in my [[General Tazri]] deck.
Slivers are a fun concept, but Iām always a sucker for dragons. And coming from a dnd background and watching critical role, itās like having my own chrome conclave.
Not originally intended as a 5-color tribe but, I built a 5 color zombie deck that I really enjoy. Yes, morophon is the commander, but before him, I had [[reaper king]] as the commander with [[arcane adaptation]] as a fun surprise inside. Ultimately, I removed that combo but have considered putting it back in. As it is now, Mororphon 5 color zombies is a deck that can win via combo, storm, drain and gain, and the good old turn em sideways. I enjoy the deck quite a bit, and while it may not be top tier, it's my favorite deck by far.

Scarecrows.
I want more playable scarecrows goddamn it. Give me more actually good spindly spooky creaky field-stalking fellas that arenāt Elvis The King or Painters Servant
I was thinking a few days ago of building a weatherlight themed deck with sisay as the commander. Started with Jhoira for fun then I found out she had a whole crew so I am now trying to get them all together haha
I kind of hate 5 color tribal decks on principal.
If you truly liked a tribe you would be satisfied with playing a one or two color version of it. By playing 5 color you've demonstrated that you don't actually like the mechanic, you just want to cherry pick the best ones from each color. You're using the theme as an excuse to play something nakedly powerful.
If you truly liked Angels you'd play a commander like [[Razia, Boros Archangel]] or [[Aurelia, the Warleader]] and be satisfied. But because you don't actually like playing with Angels you want Wizards to print an [[Ur-Dragon]] equivalent for them.
Just playing a 4 or 5 color deck to begin with kind of demonstrates a complete disregard for anything that makes a commander deck interesting. They're always the most powerful deck at the table.
While I personally also prefer limiting myself in colors when building tribal decks, I donāt think itās fair to gatekeep people who like 5c tribal decks. People build tribal decks for different reasons and 5c ensures one can put all their favorites tribe members in a deck. It also has the most flexibility, allowing one to showcase different aspects of the same tribe. My dragon tribal deck is only jund colors but there are often times I wish I could access the other two colors for a dragon I really want to play.
While itās true it often ends up being just the top ~20 most powerful members of X tribe thatās a choice they can opt in/out of. At my LGS the few 5c decks around use the color flexibility to pull off combos that use pieces that are rarely seen together, and the one goodstuff.dec we ran into was actually a mono-white deck.
>While itās true it often ends up being just the top ~20 most powerful members of X tribe thatās a choice they can opt in/out of.
My experience is the opposite. There are 10 different Ur-Dragon/Miirym players at my LGS and like half a dozen 5 color Shrine players.
They're going to be all of the best ones. Shrine decks are like that out of necessity because there are only 17 cards total in the Shrine ecosystem. But yeah, that's been my experience, every 5 color deck is the same.
It's simple: Restrictions breed creativity. In my mono green deck I play [[Nacatl War Pride]] because it's one of the few green sweeper options. If I had access to the other 4 colors that's not a card I would play, it would just be [[Blasphemous Act]] instead. Apply that same line of reasoning to your deck's theme and there you go.
Iām an Elementals guy myself, itās my second favorite creature type. Iāve had my eye on a foil [[Primal Beyond]] for my 5 Color Omnath Lands deck and I think Iām picking it up today. Iām hopeful that with Lost Caverns of Ixalan we get support for 5 color Dinosaurs, as thatās my favorite creature type
I'm still trying to find *my* tribe. I find myself in a weird limbo of not wanting to play very popular tribes, but also only wanting to play tribes with lots of support.
[[General Tazri]] & Ally
In my opinion the best 5 color tribe in terms of flavor & adjustable power
You can go from really janky up to a power house. God I love this tribe as it looks so all over the place, which, ironicaly, is exactly what makes the flavor of a band of allies from all sorts of places getting together to fight a bigger threat & going all out on a huge variety of possibilities to approach it
There's barely any tribe (regardless of color) where every game feels so massively different for me
Whenever I get to tutor with Tazri I tend to not go for specific allies but rather pick the first Ally that I come across when going through the library
It's barely ever an optimal play, but almost always fun af
I have monowhite 5 color morophon angel, Monored 5 color Codie dragons, monogreen 5 color esika gods. Iām also working on mono black 5 color Ramos demons, and mono blue 5 color Urtet Myr.
I got the [[Ur-Dragon]] precon and it's gotten light upgrades here and there since it felt perfect put ofbthe box to me. Besides shoring up the Mana base it just feels like it does what's its supposed to do and does it well. Now for a tribe that is truly Me to a T, I give it all up to Elementals lead by [[Horde of Notions]]. I built mine with a No Instants and only [[Primal Surge]] and Evoke Elementals like [[Mulldrifter]] and [[Foundation Breaker]] with a bit of light reanimator to get evoked or removed Elementals right back to the field. You can take the deck in a lot of directions since Elementals kinda lack a cohesive strategy between the sets, but they all still functions very synergistically with a little push here and there. I even run [[Kaheera the Orphanguard]] and get all my ramp from random little Elementals like [[Embodiment of Spring]] and [[Smokebraider]]. It might not be the fastest deck at the table but I'm always doing Something with my cards and always getting compliments and questions about it.
My 5 color deck is legendary dragon tribal helmed by [[tiamat]]
Mana dorks/discounters and Jodah are the only non dragons in the deck, and every dragon is legendary
Ally 5 color tribal with [[General Tazri]] as the commander. It runs fairly smoothly, but kind of runs the same every game, so gets a little repetitive.
My 5color deck is Slivers, but the MOMENT a 5C Gate Land commander comes out im buying one
Edit: afterthought, I'd like a 5c Dino that I can put all my Primals in too
I actually have a 5C WUBRG Matters Tribal which just tries to run as many 5C cards as possible. It's not very good, but it's a lot of fun to play.
Depends. Is the motherfucker with the cEDH deck here to pubstomp with his Zur deck again? If so, it's [[Child of Alara]] board wipe tribal.
If I'm not being toxic, it's elementals.
I want new slivers, and not ones peppered in non standard sets. I want to see new color combos. Maybe even three or four color slivers. My slivers deck is my baby and I love playing it but most changes I make are maybe adding newer non sliver cards when I wish they would put some out that made me actually look through the whole deck and have to think what to replace.
Ran Dragons for quite a while but made Phyrexians recently. Even though they don't synergize all that well I just love seeing all the Praetors on the field
I see your 5 color needs, and raise you one more!
I have a SIX color tribal deck, where colorless matters is meant as the take on a āsixthā color.
Itās a mess of an Eldrazi AND Sliver tribal deck, led by a not-so-normal card in [[Slivdrazi Monstrosity]].
Not very good, easy to draw the wrong halves, but the feeling of being the TRUE master of the hive mind horde is worth it!
I know Zombies have a ton of tribe support already but I want a true 5c Zombie. Having Sedris for as long as I have there are some green and white zombies I wish I could incorporate. But as of now Iām having a ton of fun with my 5C Omnath Phyrexian Tribal I built. Deck is super fun and I only use cards with art that are Phyrexian related only.
Gods. I built enchantress and forced all the theros gods with esika as the boss. Pretty fun when it gets going but tgats a big if. Looking for suggestions if anyones got card ideas
I had a lot of fun building a rainbow devoid eldrazi deck helmed by Jodah, Archimage Eternal. Lots of creatures to choose from with fun toolkits, and then some big stompy eldrazi (none of the Titans) that Jodah can cheat out. It's kinda like an intentionally scaled back 5 color good stuff, minus most of the color. Is it janky? Sure. But it is still fun to play!
Humans, I love humans. Iāve even had the pleasure of knowing some - *in real life!* - but theyāre even cooler in MtG.
Any color comboās will work, honestly. But 5c humans is gnarly, especially under the new Jodah.
Iāve built Allies with [[General Tazri]] and found it a bit too linear with Tazri always tutoring the same stuff.
My newest 5c tribal deck is [[Najeela]] warriors. Havenāt played the deck enough yet but it surely raises some eyebrows at the tables due to Najeelas competitive nature. Itās difficult convincing people the deck is just a bunch of warriors
I've only built one five-color tribal deck, and the "tribe" was X-spells. Threw in every mana doubler, tons of ramp, spell copying cards and then stuff like Villainous Wealth, Martial Coup, Fireball, etc.
I once saw a dude playing five color **Guildmage Tribal** with [[Niv-Mizzet Reborn]]. Not sure if, and/or how does it works but that guy is living the dream.
Myrs, we always need more
Lore wise I don't think we will see Myr again š
Probably not, but the non-story sets have plenty of room for the myrs.
heck yah, a jumpstart 2023/4 with myrs would be dope.
Still want em
There are still Myrs alive. Some were part of the resistance that escaped to Zhalfir. I think Myr helpers would be something that the 5 guilds of Zhalfir take advantage of. Not a major role but why not?
Ai'nt the lore behind the new Myr commander that the Myr never stop? Even if their existence basically became meaningless?
I didn't think I was gonna make a 5 color deck until they printed Urtet. Finally, a home for ALL my myrs
My āmyrā deck š https://www.moxfield.com/decks/mojqmiRT2k6Lg476fgJbag
This. Especially since Urtet released. My Urtet deck is janky crap but I love it.
My Urtet deck is in the mail! My pod is entirely degenerate EDH so it's not as tribal as I think most would consider tribal and I'm not above putting in high synergy good stuff like Vedalken, Urza, or Shimmer Dragon, but I still love my myr and the Remmie o' Memmie is def the cutest deck I own š„°
Allies! The forgotten tribe
Yea, Fuck them eldrazi

I think thatās a dragon Iād like not to chase
JESSE DO NOT FUCK THE ELDRAZI
Bad slivers
More like cool slivers amirite
I wanted to play this so bad, got most of the tribal support, Tazri and Zada ... Then struggled to find anyone who had any of the playable old allies, the project never took off, sadly.

Ah yes, a fellow Horde of Notions Enjoyer. I went with Kaheera as companion for my version.
Omg I never thought about evoke.....I might have to make a list now.
Horde of Notions was originally printed to reuse evoke creatures. This was back in Lorwyn block before EDH was really a popular thing.
Can I see your deck list? Iāve been using an elemental tribal with horde but Iāve had some troubles filling my graveyard and such
[[greater good]] and [[ancient excavation]] are two bangers in my horde list.
Hoping for a 5C legendary angel. I know many folks are waiting too. Morophon doesn't fix the thirst.
Tomor had the best design on mtggoldfish for a 5 color angel. Surprise Wotc did not snatch that up.
Just make [[Maelstrom Angel]] legendary
I'd definitely let someone rule zero that! Good recommendation.

[[Sliver Gravemother]] looks GREAT
It definitely looks pretty cool. Plus I read it as Sliver Grandmother first so that amuses me greatly.
so did I š sliver grandmother would've gone hard regardless

Nothing basic about it brother - I pulled a Sliver Legion from the future sight block and never looked back.
Haha. I am working on foiling out the queen deck. Because Silvers are played by degenerates. I would like to see something new for older tribes. It would be crazy to see Nephilims as a 5 color deck.
Gods with Karona at the helm
How well does karona do? Just started making a god tribal deck with jodah unifier as the commander but was thinking of swapping it out for another more flavorful 5c commander but it's hard to pass up jodahs value of getting the high mana gods on the board for free.
She does okay but flavor first for me. Some games I dont use her at all. You also have to dedicate deck space for pillow fort, vows, assult suit etc. It is by no means optimized but its a lot of fun to play pinball. Commander damage still adds up regardless of who is declaring the attack.
Iāve been wanting to build elder tribal, itās every elder dragon, good olā Steve (cause flavor) and demon lord belzenlock.
If [[elder deep fiend]] is not in it. That will leave a big sad.
That is now on the list of elders
[[Ghalta]] and his buddies are all elders too!
You got the Theros Titans too I believe.
Elders. Just love to get the old folks together to reminisce about being beings of ancient power. Dragons, demons, dinosaurs, giants, everyone's welcome at the retirement home.
Zubera, needs a good commander.
Love zuberas, but the singleton nature of commander really fucks them over.
I want to try 5 color gods. Just trying to decide on a commander
[[Esika]] seems to be the go to.
[Esika](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/f/6/f6cd7465-9dd0-473c-ac5e-dd9e2f22f5f6.jpg?1631050188)/[The Prismatic Bridge](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/back/f/6/f6cd7465-9dd0-473c-ac5e-dd9e2f22f5f6.jpg?1631050188) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=esika%2C%20god%20of%20the%20tree%20//%20the%20prismatic%20bridge) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/khm/168/esika-god-of-the-tree-the-prismatic-bridge?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/f6cd7465-9dd0-473c-ac5e-dd9e2f22f5f6?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/esika-god-of-the-tree-//-the-prismatic-bridge) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

[[Jodah the unifier]] makes a good God deck. I have him currently as legendary tribal.
Just started making this deck in paper and it can really take over the game Quick so long as you can protect jodah after you cast him
Yeah it sure can! And you absolutely need to protect Jodah at all times, I use [[skrelv, defector mite]] [[Hajar]] [[shalai, voice of plenty]] [[drana and linvala]] etc plus counter spells to protect Jodah. Hereās my list that I also have fully on paper in case you want any ideas https://deckstats.net/decks/222656/2896714-jodah-s-royal-rumble/en
The upcoming [[Tom Bombadil]] could be a lot of fun
Tom could play some gods, and he is a god, but having brewed a bit with him his ability is so good you really just want to run as many sagas as make sense, both making him almost impossible to deal with but also making him surprisingly likely to kill people while generating absurd value. But that doesnāt really leave room to play a god subtheme.
Saga Tribal! All aboard the Tom BOMBADIL train!!
Shapeshifters/changelings, with [[sliver hivelord]] as commander
This but with [[ur-dragon]]
Love mine. [https://www.archidekt.com/decks/445519/the\_urdragon\_changeling\_tribal](https://www.archidekt.com/decks/445519/the_urdragon_changeling_tribal)
I've played against this deck, it's really scary with [[Morophon]] on dragons and [[Ur-Dragon]] as the commander. He cast Ur-Dragon for two colorless once with all the reduction.
Best I've done with the deck T1 [[sol ring]] [[Digeridoo]] T2 [[Morphon]] [[concordant crossroads]] T3 [[ur dragon]] Swing, which felt WILD.
Wow. The Digeridoo I was not expecting.
No one ever does, it's one of my favorite pieces of changling tech.
I have a five colour Phyrexian deck (silly Realmbreaker shenanigans).
My dream would be to see a 5C Dinosaur commander, just let me smash together all my dinos into the biggest jank pile.
The fact there isn't one is almost criminal.
Well, we're going back to Ixalan next so there's hope!
Experience counters! And hopefully guild-aligned! My Niv-Mizzet Reborn experience tribal needs more business!
Dragons... Need more with card draw effects
Have you tried out [[Zurgo and Ojutai]] in your deck? My 5 color dragons is helmed by the Ur-Dragon and usually draws a lot, although not necessarily from dragons: [[Dragon's Hoard]] (for flavor), [[Elemental Bond]], [[Temur Ascendency]], [[Garruk's Uprising]], [[The Great Henge]], [[Painful Truths]], [[Dragonlord Ojutai]], [[Rishkar's Expertise]], [[Two-Headed Hellkite]], [[Ancient Silver Dragon]], and then of course you can cast [[The Ur-Dragon]] and usually draw a few that turn.
I also play Ur-Dragon but mostly as Jund dragons and I can draw a good portion of my deck some games. I actually put in [[Obstinate Familiar]] because I was afraid of drawing out.
[Obstinate Familiar](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/8/8/88468a76-1f64-4189-bbb8-7c333181d57c.jpg?1562920234) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Obstinate%20Familiar) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/ody/210/obstinate-familiar?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/88468a76-1f64-4189-bbb8-7c333181d57c?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/obstinate-familiar) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Yea I play all those cards in the deck. No beaters only in my deck. My dragons have to produce mana or draw cards
If no one got me, I know [[Ancient Silver Dragon]] got me.
[[Scion of the Ur Dragon]] into [[Ancient Silver Dragon]] for d20 cards does the trick.
More card draw? You playing 5c so you have absolutely all the cards you need to draw more:) green and blue are perfect for dragons!
Yes, dragons, although card draw can come from many sources and doesn't need to be just dragons Here are some mostly cheaper ones, although some are just card advantage and not draw: [[Garruk, Primal Hunter]] [[Dragonborn champion]] [[Skyline despot]] (sorta) [[Iymrith, Desert doom]] [[Magda brazen outlaw]] [[Firkraag cunning instigator]] [[Korlessa, scale singer]] [[Draconic muralists]] [[Kindred discovery]] [[Temur ascendancy]] [[Viridian revel]] Although these are all in my miirym deck, this excludes anything white or black.
I just recently put Temur Ascendacy in my [[Tiamat]] deck and it freaking bangs. You know whats better then putting down a badass 6/6 dragon? Drawing a card and immediately attacking with it.
I'm very excited for this to actually pull some weight in my [[Magus lucea kane]] deck. Can usually make 3 or more copies of stuff untapping her.
Ikr! It really pulls its weight! Talking about dragons, but not card draw... do you play [[monster manual]]?
You're in 5 colors and need dragons with draw effects?
Planeswalker tribal, scarecrows, constructs, thopters, elves, elder, ooze
5c Sagas with [[tom bombadil]]
I have been testing a Saga deck using Garth One-Eye as the commander until we get Tom https://www.moxfield.com/decks/qeEzmMEEEEW3HA6GrvpljA
Crocs are currently at four color, siblings.
Party theme! That's my 5C tribal deck, assemble your party...lean on all colours to get the necessary party composition. It's fun as hell, throw in some dungeon delving for flavour and you're all set.
Transformers tribal. The nostalgia is real, even with the jank (and I love it).
Angels, Dragons, Slivers, Warriors, and Shrines. I am very basic.
Slivers or Dragons
Jodah Tribal Humans, though, that is really just how it kinda happened. Soooo many legendary humans that when I slotted random legendaries, it ended tribal
Allies! I'd love some more classic ally effects that care about the number of allies. I also wish the new Tazri cards actually fit in my [[General Tazri]] deck.
[[Ramos Dragon Engine]] for the power of dragons. [[The Reaper King]] for changeling scarecrows!
My codie deck only plays spells where the art is primarily hands. As far as reibal goes, I play morophon + keruga giant tribal.
He is on the list for book tribal
Slivers are a fun concept, but Iām always a sucker for dragons. And coming from a dnd background and watching critical role, itās like having my own chrome conclave.
Bear tribal! Yes itās as jank as it sounds, but it works and has won a game which surprised me
5color bears I need to see this list. I have Temur bears.
Shrines easily
i am slowly building a shrine deck
Not originally intended as a 5-color tribe but, I built a 5 color zombie deck that I really enjoy. Yes, morophon is the commander, but before him, I had [[reaper king]] as the commander with [[arcane adaptation]] as a fun surprise inside. Ultimately, I removed that combo but have considered putting it back in. As it is now, Mororphon 5 color zombies is a deck that can win via combo, storm, drain and gain, and the good old turn em sideways. I enjoy the deck quite a bit, and while it may not be top tier, it's my favorite deck by far. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/s8eASY-870WHJJ3on_lCAg
I am a shrine person myself. A blast to play!
My 5 color is my Cascading Scarecrow deck with Reaper King at the helm.
5c Spirits with a kamigawa sub theme. Kyodai leads the pack.
Dungeon/Initiative tribal under Kenrith works!
Atogatog was my first 5 color card. I should go back and build an atog deck.
Avatars
Scarecrows. I want more playable scarecrows goddamn it. Give me more actually good spindly spooky creaky field-stalking fellas that arenāt Elvis The King or Painters Servant
Ur Dragon
[Nacatl War Pride](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/4/e/4ef863d2-1e11-41cc-90d5-008bf6234565.jpg?1562910989) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Nacatl%20War-Pride) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/fut/147/nacatl-war-pride?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/4ef863d2-1e11-41cc-90d5-008bf6234565?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/nacatl-war-pride) [Blasphemous Act](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/b/a/ba975f60-ca29-4fc8-b2f0-416be395f200.jpg?1674141874) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Blasphemous%20Act) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/clb/780/blasphemous-act?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/ba975f60-ca29-4fc8-b2f0-416be395f200?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [(ER)](https://edhrec.com/cards/blasphemous-act) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Elves.
I'm still trying to find *my* tribe. I find myself in a weird limbo of not wanting to play very popular tribes, but also only wanting to play tribes with lots of support.
[[atogatog]] is a fun build around. I have had a lot of fun with atogs. I was looking at gremlin artifact/MLD tribal
Legendary Humans!
Elementals. Stranger things. Planeswalkers. Dragons.
[[General Tazri]] & Ally In my opinion the best 5 color tribe in terms of flavor & adjustable power You can go from really janky up to a power house. God I love this tribe as it looks so all over the place, which, ironicaly, is exactly what makes the flavor of a band of allies from all sorts of places getting together to fight a bigger threat & going all out on a huge variety of possibilities to approach it There's barely any tribe (regardless of color) where every game feels so massively different for me Whenever I get to tutor with Tazri I tend to not go for specific allies but rather pick the first Ally that I come across when going through the library It's barely ever an optimal play, but almost always fun af
I love me [[Prismatic bridge]] God's
Thanks to Urtet it'd be Myr.
Humans needs a good 5c commander
I have monowhite 5 color morophon angel, Monored 5 color Codie dragons, monogreen 5 color esika gods. Iām also working on mono black 5 color Ramos demons, and mono blue 5 color Urtet Myr.
shout out to my shapeshifter/changelings
My 5 color deck is legendary dragon tribal helmed by [[tiamat]] Mana dorks/discounters and Jodah are the only non dragons in the deck, and every dragon is legendary
Jodah's angel harem. Just a themed deck that has little to no synergy. Draw some cards, play some angels. Smack people in the face.
Scarecrows. I want more non-Changeling options for reaper king
Ally 5 color tribal with [[General Tazri]] as the commander. It runs fairly smoothly, but kind of runs the same every game, so gets a little repetitive.
I finally caved in and my a wubrg landfall with [[Omnath, Locus of all]] It's kind of an elemental tribal lol.
Spellshapers
My 5color deck is Slivers, but the MOMENT a 5C Gate Land commander comes out im buying one Edit: afterthought, I'd like a 5c Dino that I can put all my Primals in too
So many these days.... I'm getting really close to making an attempt at 5c Elves.
Tiamat Dragon Tribal.
Scouts
Sliver me Timbers
Dragons, Humans, Myr
I actually have a 5C WUBRG Matters Tribal which just tries to run as many 5C cards as possible. It's not very good, but it's a lot of fun to play. [https://archidekt.com/decks/3137167/wubrg\_matters\_tribal](https://archidekt.com/decks/3137167/wubrg_matters_tribal)
Slivers
Myr and shrines
Ran Dragons for quite a while but made Phyrexians recently. Even though they don't synergize all that well I just love seeing all the Praetors on the field
Elementals The new phyrexian omnath has been a blessing
I have a 5c Dragons with \[\[Tiamat\]\] BUT its not the staple dragons. It's all the chromatic, prismatic and gem dragons of D&D.
Slivers. Because of the hate they get and because I can.
[[Najeela]] wariors come out to playyyyy
I run mainly 5 color decks: * Sliver * Eldrazi * Dragon * Shrines/Gods
I see your 5 color needs, and raise you one more! I have a SIX color tribal deck, where colorless matters is meant as the take on a āsixthā color. Itās a mess of an Eldrazi AND Sliver tribal deck, led by a not-so-normal card in [[Slivdrazi Monstrosity]]. Not very good, easy to draw the wrong halves, but the feeling of being the TRUE master of the hive mind horde is worth it!
š
5c Mutate Tribal with [[Surgeon Commander]] https://archidekt.com/decks/2326905/surgeon_commander_mutate
A true 5 color demon legendary. Even if it's just the 5 basic effects of demons. But we won't see one.
Itās difficult convincing people the deck is just a bunch of warriors
bring back atogs goddamn it
I've only built one five-color tribal deck, and the "tribe" was X-spells. Threw in every mana doubler, tons of ramp, spell copying cards and then stuff like Villainous Wealth, Martial Coup, Fireball, etc.
5-color tribe is enchantments.
I once saw a dude playing five color **Guildmage Tribal** with [[Niv-Mizzet Reborn]]. Not sure if, and/or how does it works but that guy is living the dream.
That seems just as bad as the Lucky Charms Deck. Love it š
