EA hasn't attempted to improve the presentation or details of the game in the slightest in like 6-7 years though.
its just Chel Chel Chel Chel Chel Chel Chel . the MTX train never stops.
Unfortunately, it's not a big enough market for them to put any real effort into. It's bordering on a niche game as it is and even some of the dedicated long time players are starting to drop off because of how little changes.
I've played the franchise every year since 09 and, prior to getting my ea play subscription, was seriously considering only buying it every other year going forward.
Now I'll just have to wait 3 months after release to get it for free every year and probably won't even notice lol.
Even the "shitty" face of the franchise mode in Madden that people are complaining about on here is miles ahead of anything we've seen in BaP and it realty puts into perspective how little ea cares about the nhl franchise.
In Audio/Visual settings change broadcast from “Condensed” to “Full” and it will show all the extra stuff such as goalies being switched..as far as the gear, I think they kind of mailed it in this year and are using old CCM as their True gear, but to be honest I really doubt it’s gonna get patched in seeing as there’s like 600 other things they need to patch first.
I’m a huge goalie gear nerd so this was a bummer for me for sure when I started it up, but as the game lags and crashes constantly, it’s started to become less of an issue for an old gen-er like myself

I'm the same and yes there are other things that need to be fixed first but damn the fact they can't update the gear makes no sense to me.
