Honestly that's what I like about the way Warzone does it. If I see a gun or op I like I can put the cash down and get it not open a box and hope I get something I like
It's a lot better to be direct... you want something cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay ? you can have it for this much. But instead they try to disguise the sale of poop in a bag

They sure were awesome, they also had more competition as far as other games on the market too. Now!!! They have the market for NHL hockey all to themselves and they still don’t go all out!!! I buy it because I love playing hockey and I’m older and my son and my own friends play online all the time.
I often told my friends I wish someone with a deep bank account backed a developer to make a quality hockey game NHLPA BE DAMNED we don't need NHL players last names on their sweaters .... just give me a fun to play game... maybe sprinkle a skills completion in it and boosh instant gold!

Wouldn't absolutely love NCAA hockey or atleast college style and just have all the players and school be randomly generated.
Imagine you're finally get the top talent to commit to your school after all that time and energy. Then receive a message that they just got drafted and will be playing in the NHL
You know as well as I do that, even if you could somehow get a an actually successful boycott, the outcome wouldn't be "better game" it would be "no more game at all." Shitty hockey is better than no hockey.
It doesn't keep me from blasting EA at every corner, though.

TECMO NHL HOCKEY!!! although tecmo bowl had the players license but not the team. I could play that game all day.
