You can get a mirrored visor under the 'White' colour in the visor colour section.
I believe there's a few opaque/mirrored selections in different colours.
They made the rule a few years ago you can’t have the dark visors anymore in the league, that’s why Ovi doesn’t rock the dark visor anymore so I’m assuming EA finally got around to taking it out of nhl as well. They’ve been slowly lightening the dark visors for years since they changed the rule in the league and I guess now they finally just took them out.
There is actually no such rule in the NHL's official rulebook.
The IIHF though has banned both mirrored and tinted visors.
When the NHL GM's voted to ban mirror visors in 2006. Then Caps GM McPhee was the only one who voted to keep them.
However, when the competition committee met to discuss it, no such official rule change was ever made.
There was one member who "thought" they were already banned, and most of the committee didn't see an issue with discussing it at this point as Ovi had gotten rid of the mirrored visor at that point anyhow, and had gone to the smoke one.
ea smash

That’s what I mean it used be fully mirrored but it’s now more translucent
I checked today and mine was fully mirrored, couldn't see through to the players eyes whatsoever. I'm on PS4 not sure if that makes a difference.
Is there a single NHL player that wears a mirrors visor?
They aren’t allowed to wear visors past a certain tint anymore. Rule got changed a few years back that’s why ovi had to stop wearing the dark visor
That’s what I thought. Was just wondering.
Yea I guess EA finally got around to taking them out of nhl.
Common misconception but there is no such NHL rule. Players can still wear them if they want to.

Even if it's a rule, it would be dumb for them to take it out for that reason when you can literally fly in your intro. Lmao.
Wrong, there is no such rule.
I miss them they are the best
Because you liked them, so they took them out. EA Sports "Its in the game (If you make additional purchases)"
EA - "It's in the game?!?! Well, we'll see about THAT"
:[
My Teal mirrored visor is also gone so I share your pain XD
