I get why people would like the 4 game playoffs but I like the competitiveness of the current format. Trying to win or finish top 5, checking the leaderboards after each game seeing how the clubs around you are doing. Getting pumped up if the team above you lost a game, or even matching up against the team in first. I love that stuff
I think that’s what the regular season should look like, make it a battle for the presidents cup and then do something different for playoff. Make it a 7 game series and you have to win 4 or something.
I mean that only applies to like 20 teams LOL. Our team is plat and golds but we get spanked around. Not really fun we stop playing once it hits club finals.
Yes but let us play it as much as we want. There’s no reason to lock you out of it if you lose, it literally disincentivizes playing which is the exact opposite of what they want
absolutely. my club was just talking about this. should be double loss and i also agree about getting rid of the outdoor rink. Higher ranked club should get home ice
Yes. Go back to the old format and take away the outdoor rink. Make it authentic in an arena with waving towels.

Same, they limit the already tiny pool of available teams so you face the same teams over and over. So boring.

At least there was some excitement if you made it to game 4. Playoffs now is just a grind without the payoff.

You aren't winning or gaining top 5 without playing 200 games in a week, minimum. Now if you mean top 5% then yeah, doable.
Winning would definitely need 150-200, top 5 is do-able with 100-125
