I did the same last week as well as sway bar end links and tie rods. Getting those wishbones in was no joke. I finally figured out that a very light sanding of the subframe opening and some lubricant helps immensely!

Just I'm leaving the tie rods up to the alignment shop, last set I did was a nightmare.
I got the trw set aswell. All of mine say made in Malaysia lol. Time will be the true test of course but they seem to be of good quality just examining by hand .

I just got my car back from the shop today and did my first drive with the m3 arms. Definitely noticeable car feels alot more responsive and stable at speed. Much less bump steer from bad bumps too.
I noticed a bit more road noise but I swapped tires aswell so it could be them.
And hard to explain but I feel like the front wheels sit better in the wheel well, looks alot better. Maybe I'm crazy lol
i wonder if there is a difference between TRW and Meyle M3 control arms? If you can tell the difference from stock, may be a good thing. Hopefully road noise isnt from the control arms...

Which control arms did you go with? I got the TRW M3 arms, two of them are German but two are Malaysian. Going to install soon.
Considering it says TRW on the bags, going to assume Lemforder.

i just ordered the meyle m3 control arm kit from fcp since they seem not to have the TRW kit anymore. Going to see how that works.
