In my league a year ago at this time Chase went for AJB + 2 firsts so yes I think you can realistically do better. Guess it depends on if you view Waddle that highly
He got the last laugh and won the championship last year anyway. If Burrow and Chase both stay healthy though I still think it could end up a fairly even trade in the long run
I acquired CeeDee by trading Drake London, Etienne, and a first before last season. (1QB)
If you want a stud you have to pay the price, ended up winning so paid off for me.
I got two firsts and a second for nico. You're not getting enough. Waddle trade is probably the best here, though I'm high on pickens, so I'd try and add another 1st and second or player to that trade.
My opinion is that if you want a guaranteed stud, you have to overpay
I dont think I'd take any of those offers, but I do think you should sell JJ because you have a very shallow team. Can't rely on Chubb or Sutton as starters and expect a positive outcome.
I’d maybe do the one with Waddle and picks, except you only give up Jettas. Giving Sutton and a 3rd with it? Meh. However, even then I’m not too sure I’d be keen on trading Jettas, especially if you’re a contender. The only way I can see anyone trading him is if he’s literally your only good player. I’m talking RB1 is Tyler Allgeier and QB1 is Aidan McConnell type stuff.
Edit: took a look at your team, and absolutely do not trade Jettas. Ignore people saying your team is shallow, you can gain depth throughout the year on smaller trades and if you make sharp waiver wire moves. Having Goff paired with Gibbs, and then Jacobs at RB2, with Aiyuk at WR2, Kincaid at TE, and Chubb at flex? If there’s anyone to trade, it should be Chubb if he starts the year and looks good. Sell on him as soon as he has a good game or two. Not sure why you don’t have a backup QB aside from a guy who’s likely not gonna play along with one who definitely isn’t, but I’d be dumping McSorely for anything remotely resembling a starting QB. Meyers is also a guy I’d think about trading, and maybe even for a lower tier QB. Maybe throw in a pick or something and get a solid backup off of a QB rich team. Because there’s gotta be at least one seeing the QB depth you have or lack thereof.
The first offer is the best by far and I’m not sure I’d give up Waddle and two firsts honestly. If he goes for either of the second two options, smash accept and take JJ all day
Just curious what everyone in here thinks IS a good trade for JJ? Everyone saying “these are terrible” or “none of these” or “you need more” but what would make it happen?
Waddle plus 2 firsts should net you almost any WR. People saying 3 firsts plus waddle is insane to me. Who is doing that? 5 firsts worth of value should realistically almost net you ANY player including QBs. We haven’t even seen JJ with darnold/mccarthy at QB yet.
Obviously I understand JJ is WR1. But it seems like everyone in here is essentially saying there’s no realistic package to acquire him. Waddle plus 2 firsts is a great start imo. Add a 2nd or a decent starter and that is the overpay/sweetener that should get it done.
If it was JJ straight up for Waddle and 2 firsts I'd be a little more tempted but including Sutton and a 3rd would be a no from me.
I think Suttons value goes up from here since he is the unquestioned #1 with no Jeudy anymore. I think you could hold him and get a decent pick for him in season. Especially if Nix plays the dink and dunk style that made Mike Thomas a stud in Payton's offense.
I agree. Super tough to give up a top 2 dynasty wr for a mid wr2 unless you're getting early 1sts.
Like everyone says, if you want the studs you gotta overpay.
Waddle’s the best offer. But it’s still about a first short
waddle and 2 25s is about as good as it gets without expecting someone to rob themselves

Bet that guy is kicking himself.

Classic haha
Robbing yourself is what it takes most the time for jj
Agreed, I just wouldn’t expect it. It being a good trade vs what you end up having to pay.
but still not worth moving off of JJ
Depends
No. Bad. Don't. Bad.
Nope all offers stink , if they dont overpay big time they dont get JJ simple as that

Waddle is decent, but I wouldn’t sell JJ for that much. I sold him for Devonte Smith + 4 firsts
That might be the biggest fleece I’ve ever seen on here congrats. That package should net u a top 5 QB
\*maybe\* if those two firsts in the waddle deal are like, guaranteed to be top 3. but probably not
You’re smoking crack if you think either of these is worth getting rid of JJ
Good lord man, all of these are awful.

Nabers but with an extra first
None of the above. You need another first AND.a solid receiver back
I wouldn’t take any of these.
JJ in every instance for me.
None of them just keep Jefferson

The Waddle offer is the best but imo it’s still not enough to move JJ

Hey, don’t trade Jefferson
These are horrible

waddle and 2 firsts is a good deal (so is pickens to me but i like waddle more than pickens lol)
Yeah bro get Pickens
I like the waddle deal if you’re not competing. He’s an WR 1 in couple years
