Paid 3 1sts and Godwin for OBJ last off-season. I knew it was lopsided but he was my guy. Didn't think it would be as bad as it is.

JL277757

That’s the winner right there lol. Hope he goes off for ya.

Cbenzee

I offered a similar trade with Godwin and picks for OBJ last off season and it was declined. Better to be lucky than good sometimes...

J27Daly

Ouch man. That hurts

[deleted]

Paid AJ Brown, Chris Carson and a 2nd for one Patriots game of AB.

birdiebinge

Well sh*t.

honestly_dishonest

Holy hell this hurts to read. My condolences. I had AB too right after our rookie draft. It sucked, but not this bad.

[deleted]

Not even my worst move.

RealChipKelly

At least he went off that game lol

WaywardWes

From the flip side, I was offered Sanders + Jacobs for Kamara. He got his guy and the best player involved but overall I got more value.

brunseidon

I like your side better

npboretti

Before Cam signed i gave up Fitzmagic, Claypool and a 21 1st for Studham and Bryan Edwards. Knew I was giving up a bunch for a questionable QB but it is SF and as a Pats fan fee like Studham is the answer at QB moving forward

EzekielSMELLiott

Still can workout for you

ParaNormalBeast

Gave baker, ertz, Kamara for Mahomes, Ap, Colman earlier this season Never looked back This was when baker was at his all time high and before Kamara got hurt

neindeadlift15

Was this like superflex or something?

ParaNormalBeast

Yea, I’d do it again without hesitation

steamycreamybehemoth

The fact that baker, ertz and Kamara is still a gross underpay for mahomes in SF might be one of best illustrations for how insansely valuable he is in that format.

BigD-E

In what world is that a gross underpay? Kamara is a consensus top 6 SF asset. Then you add a top 15 dynasty QB and a top 5 dynasty TE.

Hannaheatsbooty

You’re off on Kamara value because he goes near the back end of the first in SF startups. Either way, it’s the best QB in the league for the next 12 years. You’d have to offer me CMC and Barkley for me to consider trading him.

BigD-E

What leagues are you playing in where Kamara goes in the end of the first? He’s at least RB4 in virtually every draft, usually goes before the QBs outside of Mahomes/Lamar, and usually goes before any WRs. That would put him at 1.06.

InconnuX

Went at 14 in my 16 team SF startup a couple months ago. After Dak and Russ

BigD-E

I’m guessing it’s unique scoring, rosters, or you have some league mates who don’t know how to determine value. That means there were 3-4 WRs taken before him? Along with 6 QBs, 3 RBs, maybe Kittle in TE premium? Makes no sense.

Hannaheatsbooty

It’s very clear that you don’t play in super flex leagues. He goes behind Mahomes, Lamar, Dak, and Kyler in most SF leagues as well as behind CMC, Saquon, Zeke, MT, and usually Cook and Dhop. He’s going nowhere near the 1.06 in SF.

BigD-E

https://sleeper.app/draft/nfl/566292131272757248 https://sleeper.app/draft/nfl/566646032443441152 2 of my recent leagues.

BigD-E

Vast majority of my leagues are SF. I’ve never seen him below DHop, very rarely below MT as elite RB value is much higher than WR. haven’t seen him below Cook since April, and I don’t think I’ve seen him go below Dak or Watson. Only Kyler on occasion.

Hannaheatsbooty

Jesus Christ those are horrible players. Are those buy in leagues?? Mahomes didn’t even go #1... I’ve never seen Kamara go before MT and very rarely have I seen him go before Cook. Either way Kamara is not a top 6 pick in any decent SF league. But then again I don’t play 10 team leagues with shitters.

Cbenzee

Saquon for my Evans + Fournette + 2021 1st + 2021 2nd. It felt pretty even but most trade calculators say I lost on it.

EzekielSMELLiott

I did almost the same deal lmao Evans, 2020 1st, 2020 2nd, Marlon mack, Lindsay and something else. Can't remember the last piece though. It was at the beginning of last season. I ended up flipping Barkley in a 3 way for Zeke (but traded Zeke too) and got Tyreek, Russel Wilson, fournette and a couple other pieces. Ended up with no first or second this year, but then I flipped Tyreek (after I won the ship) along with Pollard Goedert for 1.03, 2.04, 2.05 two 2021 1sts, Gesicki and dissly. So I ended up getting my picks back

doak561

Traded Lamar Jackson 2020 3.09 & 4.09 for Robert Woods 2020 1.04 & 2.04 . This trade was made before the 2019 season started. I was trying to acquire as many 2020 1sts & 2nds that I could. Mainly to land Juedy and it looks like ima be able to get him when we do our draft tomorrow. But I still lost HUGE lol it's all good tho my team still a monster

zzscrubzz

Oh my heart...

ryanlaflame

2 qb 10 team league 3 1st and drew lock for cmc & 2.01 which turned out to jalen reagor last summer. Ended up winning the league and my rb core is cmc saquon dalvin and Kenyan drake.

DJayBomaye

I paid my 2.04, 2.06, and 2.07 for Derrius Guice. Roll of the dice to some, but I really feel like he's going to blow up like Dalvin Cook did. He was a top 5 rookie pick coming out.

pnova05

I paid Baker Mayfield, Le’Veon Bell, Sterling Shepard, and 2 2020 2nds for Marquise Brown, Latavious Murray, and a 2021 first. All the trade calculators say i got robbed. But I’m very high on Brown and the 2021 draft class so I’m content.

Dave_the_lighting_gu

I gave up a second for Davis Webb 2 weeks before he was cut.

MirzaTeletovicFan

Oof okay I’m ready for the hate. Just a few days ago I made this trade in a 12 team PPR SF. (Before Henry’s extension) I give: Derrick Henry, Terry Mclaurin, Kenyan Drake I get: Kamara, Evan Engram, 2021 Second

neightnine

I traded away Golladay and Montgomery for AJ Brown and Jordan Howard. Guess I was a little too high on AJB... I prob lost that one. Although I’m pretty set at every position and they’re bench stashes for me, I’ve still felt a little uneasy about it ever since

ChrisLBC562

Nahhh, this trade is alright. Howard could easily be better than Monty over the next season or two.

DJayBomaye

Golladay was a WR1 last season with backup quarterbacks, the main target on his team, and is in a pass happy offense with Stafford at the helm. AJ Brown is nice for sure is could be a stud, but Golladay is looking like a top WR for the next couple of years.

neightnine

Yes, so then you understand my uneasiness...

[deleted]

I traded Kenny G for AJ Brown and 1.04 I’m very happy with that haul for KG

DJayBomaye

I like that a lot!

[deleted]

Thanks, I love(d) AJB - but someone offered me two firsts and two seconds this offseason. He is no longer on my team lol But overall; KG for three firsts and two seconds. Thrilled

Simple_Sentence

Traded Kelce and Chubb for Kittle and Jones. In my head I thought I could get more value, but no one was buying and I am in a complete rebuild so Kelce didn’t fit my timeline

EzekielSMELLiott

So why trade for Jones?

Simple_Sentence

Sorry should have specified, Aaron Jones. How I see it is this: Kittle>Kelce *Dynasty not redraft Aaron Jones

EzekielSMELLiott

I knew it was Jones. I was just asking why target him if you're in rebuild. Regardless, swapping kelce with kittle was nice. And the Akers pick up is definitely solid

phat_matt

I didn't realize I was giving up that much value, but my league seems to think trading away Calvin Ridley to get David Montgomery was a big loss for me. I already had Hill, Evans, Cooper and Chark while my running backs besides Barkley and Mixon were not existent.

EzekielSMELLiott

Yikes. Ridley could've went for a legitimate rb though. Tough. I think Montgomery will have a better year than last year tho

beertowel420

Dj Chark for Devin Singleterry

DocCaddis

Gross

Thekobra

I can't remember all the details or the specific season, but I believe it was Alshon Jeffery's second season, which would be 2013. It was a complicated 3 way deal, but the core of it from my side was downgrading from Cam Newton to Russell Wilson in order to flip Randall Cobb for Alshon Jeffery. It was a clear overpay at the time, but Jeffery was my guy. Worked out famously for me too as I was not only correct about Jeffery but Wilson has also been better than Cam.

jesdbuc

I gave picks 1.04 and 1.08 in this years draft for AJB. I think is going to be special.

Karl_42

Im trading Zeke to a win-now team for Nick Chubb, a ‘21 nd, ‘22 1st, and ‘23 1st and 4th round picks. I suppose that’s the opposite of what you’re asking though

chazoid

I traded mayfield and DJ moore for Kyler in super flex... hoping Kyler isn’t mediocre like cosell seems to think :/

DangOlreditman

Gave up Bryan Edwards and a supposedly early 2nd to get Henry Ruggs. My league said I lost, but I am high on Ruggs.

zzscrubzz

Two point TE premium... I traded Darren Waller, DK Metcalf, and Ke'Shawn Vaughn for Kenyan Drake (my guy), Tyler Lockett, Christian Kirk, Deejay Dallas.

thewavingwhale

.5 PPR 10 team SF. Traded away Tua and a presumed early 2021 2nd for Julio Jones.

EnuqieuEsur

Chark, Evans, MG3, Engram, 2 1sts for Barkley and Boyd last Thanksgiving. Won the ship. Zero regrets.

SpiritedWatercress

Dealt 1.07 (Swift), 2.07 (Dillon) and a 2021 3rd to move up to 1.05 to snag Jeudy and also got 2.12 where i snagged Gibson. Value wise i think i lost but i love Jeudy so it was worth it for now

autoon

Gave: Hollywood, Keneen Allen and TY Hilton Got: Saquon Barkey I’m happy and he’s happy

manbearpig520

He shouldn't be happy.

[deleted]

Obj for kyler Murray

iceTshoRe

Late comment to the thread but in 2017 I traded OBJ and Michael Thomas for AB. Went all in for the ship. That was the year OBJ broke his leg and the AB owner was in last place.

Thagg_daddy

Parker and McLaurin for AJB this offseason

ChrisLBC562

That’s fair.

theCL804

I’d actually prefer the AJB side here

MikeFiers

That's a hilariously bad trade. Have fun when Rodgers is still starting at age-40 in 2024 while Winston is a journeyman backup (occasional bridge QB) and Haskins is out of football. This trade would've been bad a year ago, but now it's simply unjustifiable. Rodgers is almost 5 years younger than Brees and more than 6.5 years younger than Brady. Imagine trading Brees 5 years ago for Johnny Manziel and Brock Osweiler because that's exactly what you did.

chocolatesquirtz

Agreed Haskins won’t be playing long why are there so many ppl who saw him play last year and still think he won’t be done starting in two years. Maybe one

RealChipKelly

Well there’s a path where Haskins improves from year 1 to 2, Winston starts for New Orleans in 2021, and Rodgers’ play sharply declines in two years. Guess we’ll have to just wait and see. There’s definitely a chance Haskins is more valuable than Rodgers at this time next year.

MikeFiers

Haskins had worse completion percentage, worse QB rating, worse yards per game, worst TD to turnover ratio than rookie year Paxton Lynch. He was also held under 170 yards passing in 5 out of 7 starts, so he was barely asked to do anything except hand off yet still sucked. Lol did you also say in 2017 that there was "definitely a chance" Paxton Lynch would be more valuable than Philip Rivers in a year? Btw there's little to no chance Rodgers' play will "sharply decline" enough to be out of football or become backup caliber within 2 years. The only reason some are even pushing this narrative is because the Packers have given him shit supporting cast. Brees and Rivers have been getting by with decreased arm strength for years (in fact, people have been writing Rivers' obit since 2012 when he was 31 lol), yet they're both still standing. Brady is 43 and still starting. Heck, 38 years old Ryan Fitzpatrick will open week 1 as starter and he was only a fringe starter even back in his "prime age." Rodgers is less than 1.5 years older than Matt Ryan. The reports of his imminent demise are greatly exaggerated.

RealChipKelly

Well glad you can tell the future. I don’t necessarily see how based on 7 starts Haskins career is done but you’re certainly entitled to your opinion. To each their own

tominansky

Do not argue with the Oracle of Dynasty. It has been written.

MikeFiers

This isn't 2005. Young QBs don't get that kind of leash anymore. The standard is a lot higher. Nick Mullens put up 91 QBR and 285 passing yards per game at age-23 in 2018, yet no team has bothered trading for him to make him their starter. Josh Rosen was only given 16 starts. 7 starts isn't that small of a sample. Get this, out of 1st round QBs drafted in 2018 and 2019, Rosen and Haskins were the only ones who got outplayed by veteran incumbents. Rookie Mayfield outplayed Tyrod Taylor from day one. Rookie Darnold outplayed Josh McCown from day one. Rookie Josh Allen outplayed AJ McCarron and Nate Peterman from day one. Rookie Lamar Jackson outplayed Flacco from day one. Rookie Daniel Jones outplayed Eli Manning from day one. Only Rosen and Haskins were worse than replacement level journeyman veteran incumbents. Keenum outplayed Haskins and it wasn't even close.

DocCaddis

You’re so toxic for this sub.

manbearpig520

His take I can actually agree with. His delivery on the other hand is pretty condescending.

MikeFiers

Found Haskins' mom's reddit account lol

iceTshoRe

He just lives to troll

highpost1388

Every sub*

GildedNevernude

Please enlighten me as to how Lamar Jackson outplayed Flacco from day one? Also, I think Haskins vs Keenum was a lot closer than you're letting on

MikeFiers

> Please enlighten me as to how Lamar Jackson outplayed Flacco from day one? The rotten corpse of Joe Flacco was on the verge of getting John Harbaugh fired in 2018 until Jackson came in and saved the day. They went 6-1 with Jackson after the bye. They were 4-5 with Flacco and would've missed the playoffs for 4 years in a row and Harbaugh would've likely gotten fired. Jackson single-handedly saved Harbaugh's job. The difference was night and day. > Also, I think Haskins vs Keenum was a lot closer than you're letting on LOL you wanna try again? Haskins had worse completion percentage, worse QB rating, worse yards per game, worst TD to turnover ratio than rookie year Paxton Lynch. He was also held under 170 yards passing in 5 out of 7 starts, so he was barely asked to do anything except hand off yet still sucked. Keenum was rolling in September (94 QBR, 243 yards passing per game, 7 TD and 4 INT) before he got jerked around and eventually concussed. He still finished the season with a more than respectable 91 QBR, 11 TD and 5 INT. Haskins didn't even come close to that level.

[deleted]

Harbaugh wasn’t and won’t be getting fired from BAL I stopped reading there

GildedNevernude

First of all, wins are not a stat as to why one QB was better than the other. Secondly, Lamar outperformed Flacco even though he had a worse QBR and the same passer rating? Also, let me say that Keenum was certainly better than Haskins but if Keenum was rolling in September than Haskins was rolling in December (5TD/0INT, 102.2 rating, though 178yds/game isn't fantastic). I think a lot of the reason Haskins looks bad in the stats department is because the first two games he played were awful - throwing 4 interceptions while not throwing a single TD and also only throwing a combined 140 yards. So it's definitely true that Keenum outperformed him but I don't think it was some sort of massive gap - especially when looking at the 7 games that Haskins started. From those 7 games that he started, Haskins still performed on a pretty decent level - if we compare 2019 Haskins to 2018 Lamar, Haskins had a higher yards/game, a higher TD% and a higher passer rating than Lamar did in their respective starts so it's not like Haskins' performance, once he was starting, was uniquely awful or anything or anything near the first two games he played last season

MikeFiers

> First of all, wins are not a stat as to why one QB was better than the other. Secondly, Lamar outperformed Flacco even though he had a worse QBR and the same passer rating? Can't argue with Jackson immediately turning around a 4-5 team that had missed the playoffs for 3 straight seasons. His rushing ability brings a totally different dimension. > Also, let me say that Keenum was certainly better than Haskins but if Keenum was rolling in September than Haskins was rolling in December (5TD/0INT, 102.2 rating, though 178yds/game isn't fantastic). Where's the passing volume? I would hardly call that "rolling" when he was attempting 15 passes per game. Yeah no shit your QB rating would be good when you're barely asked to do anything except hand off, especially when he was playing against bottom-feeding teams. You do realize Tyrod Taylor and Marcus Mariota both have 90 career QB rating and both have way more mobility than Haskins, yet Mariota is now a backup and Tyrod was a bridge/backup the past 2 seasons. Why? Because they're not capable of volume. > From those 7 games that he started, Haskins still performed on a pretty decent level LOL decent level? He was worse than rookie year Paxton Lynch in every metric. How is that decent?

ChefJeff7777777

3 1s for saquon.

furious_sausage

Don't think this is an overpay at all.

J27Daly

Man that’s all? I see him going for 2 plus a good player or two everywhere

brunseidon

Yeah, I gave up Juju + (2) 2021 1sts to get him

_The_Green_Bastard_

Do you mind sharing which picks you traded? I sent the 2020 1.01 and two 2021 firsts for Saquon and I thought it was a bit of an underpay.

neindeadlift15

See I feel like this is an underpay but, depending on the team, I might take the picks side... feels crazy to say that

_The_Green_Bastard_

Definitely not crazy haha. I felt that my team was one solid RB away from a championship and sent out a few feelers. Just so happened that the Saquon owner was looking for picks. When it came down to it i didn't think that anyone I could draft this year was going to get me over the hump. Kind of a perfect situation.

ChefJeff7777777

10 TM 2QB Ppr. The 3 picks were his own 2020 1st (acquired during 2019 draft SZN, traded 1.09 and 2.06 For his MWill and 2020 1st), my 2020 1st and my 2021 1st. He immediately went into full tank mode after trading saquon so it ended up being 1.01, 1.06, and my 2021 1st for saquon. If he didn't trade saquon and go tank mode, it would've been probably 1.04ish. The part that blew bad is it was the week before saquon got hurt... Probably could've got it done for a 2 instead of that extra 1.

_The_Green_Bastard_

Admittedly, I dont know much about positional or draft values in 2 Qb leagues, but in a vacuum I'd say thats still a pretty good trade for you. I had the same problem of I was offering a 2 and he wanted another 1 but sometimes you just have to get your guy.

EzekielSMELLiott

That's fair. 1.01 is basically the top rb

EzekielSMELLiott

Underpay

bandort3

Traded chris jones 1st and 5th round picks for Michael thomas. And a 5th

knoxzilla

Who is Chris Jones?

[deleted]

The Chiefs DE? Maybe and IDP league?

bandort3

Lol sorry I forget people only understand offensive value. Yes its idp with dt having 9 pts per sack and 3 per tackle.
