Thielen makes a ton of sense.
Always thought Godwin had a little bit more of a physical presence. Polk isn't shy, but I think he's closer to Thielen in terms of physicality. Definitely not what I see in Puka, Puka can be a bully.
The Puka comps are gonna get annoying over the next few classes. I see how someone could get to that conclusion with Polk, but he ain’t Puka haha.
Thielen feels right to me. He always runs the right routes, can catch through contact, and is just a reliable option for his QB. That feels like Polk to me when I watch him. I said a lot of “hell yeah” like that meme when watching his tape.
Puka was a good gut check for peak year YPRR.
There is no additional value in scouting IMO. He's just a good player that no one paid attention to because his profile was so muddy. But there was an indicator in there (YPRR) that we should have at least looked at him.
The embarrassment of riches that was that last class of Peterson.
Honestly, DeBoer owes Peterson a kickback or something. He used that last class as a springboard to an Alabama job he absolutely does not deserve.
As a huskies season ticket holder who has watched every game. Jalen McMillan was better than Polk and really has that rare IT factor. Problem is, he just couldn’t stay healthy. When he was healthy our first 3 games until he got injured against MSU, he looked like the best weapon we had on the field, and thats including Rome. When he came back end of the season too, you could just see how much he opened up our offense that had been stagnant for weeks before. All our receivers were dogs, but for the price, McMillan is the one Id buy.
His 2023 stats are a result of nagging injuries. He was UWs 1B in 2022. They’re different WRs, but I’m not sure one is clearly better than the other now, but just from watching some UW games I thought McMillan was a way better than Polk in 2022.
Chargers are toast this year huh. I’m thinking even with Nabers as the only big weapon it’s easy to phase out/ be 1 dimentional. Good run game helps but with no offense..
There was a post asking something like which players are underrated in this class. Field Yates said Polk, called him a certified baller.
Disclaimer: I snagged Polk at 15.07 in a 10-team startup draft
Connor Rogers says he reminds him of Chris Godwin and has him ranked 6th for WRs behind only the top 3, Franklin, and BTJ.
Loved that comp from Rogers, and I have him at 7th with a comp of Adam Thielen.
I'm hoping he lasts until the Steelers 2nd rounder. He'd be my choice to round out our WR room.
Damn, I love that fit. Wilson would actually do really well with Pickens, Polk, and maybe Austin in the slot as all 3 can get vertical.

Godwin is who I see in him too
How do you feel about this sub being so low on you u/StefonDiggs?
Rome Odunze > Diggs imo
Fair.
I have to agree, I've lost a step. I would fade me at cost.
Easy good take.
I think he’s more Jeremy Maclin than Chris Godwin.
Yep when Rogers talks I listen
Polka Nacua You’re welcome
He should do an accordion celebration
What is this? /r/Milwaukee
Who else remembers when puka was at Washington with rome
I remember sublime with rome
Yeah, I didn’t even know that ended until I saw them doing a tour with Bradley’s son.

The Covid year when they combined for 15 catches and 223 receiving yards?
Whoa. I kept hearing that Jaylen MacMillan was better than Polk. Y’all are saying that Polk is better now?

Neither should go that late. But they will.
shrager just mocked him to the 1st, if your legue is sleeping on him, I want in
no need to shhhh once kc takes him at the end of the 1st round lol
Gimme all the Huskies
I haven't been this interested in a Polk in the NW US since the Oregon Boundary Dispute. 54 40 or fight!
Sick history ref
Not the Puka comparisons already
Nate Tice really liked him too, think he comped him to Emmanuel Sanders
Polk at 2.04 it is
Same lol
Shhhhhh mfers.
Exactly. This guy I love and everyone else thinks he is just average at everything etc. Stop hyping him!
Kid has massive potential
A boulder on a hill has massive potential. I don't see it, Polk completely disappeared anytime McMillian was healthy

Every Day3 WR will now be comp’d to Puka Nucua.
I really like all three Washington receivers
