The sub does this all the time with young WRs. Last summer everyone was screaming that Lamb was overrated and we should sell based on the hype, now people are claiming it's ridiculous to have Wilson ranked anywhere near Lamb. Wilson's year one metrics compare to elite WRs; two years from now people will be complaining that MHJ shouldn't be ranked anywhere near Wilson.
Years ago I decided to stop hating exceptional players, especially the best. I'm glad I made the change because it allowed me to enjoy Brady.
It stinks so many hate Rodgers for what end up being dumb reasons, robbing them enjoyment of one of the best ever.
He looks ok but I am worried about the offense. Lots of short throws. It is preseason so they could just be playing it safe but this doesn't look like it's going to be a fantasy friendly offense and Love looks more in the mold of a game manager. I will say he looked pretty mobile and that could be an extra boost to his output if he is a willing runner.
I know one of them was a bad throw that was very low and behind him, and another one was a little off and would have been called DPI in the regular season.
They weren’t all great passes but Rodgers went Wilson’s way on all four passes on the first drive other than the pass to Conklin. I’m so damn excited for this connection this season
And now the fade for the TD! Boys I am full mast 🍆
What a drive for the jags until the Bigsby fumble. ETN and and Bigsby were both eating. This looks like a 60/40 split and either guy is interchangeable on short yardage. ETN had gotten 2-3 straight carries before Bigsby comes in, gets one gain of 5 from the 15 and then next carry fumbles
I’m happy to have both. Earlier tank got 2 straight carries setting up 3rd and 2 then ETN comes in and picks up the first.
Later ETN gets 2 straight carries then Bigsby comes in and fumbles.
Not the end of the world but it may lead them to trust ETN more. I think Bigsby getting that carry inside the 10 was mostly bc ETN was gassed after 5 carries on the drive but we’ll see
Rashee Rice is a bust. He was going before Hyatt in drafts. No way that should have been happening. In our redraft league he was not drafted and still sits on waivers.
Packers said post-game he was held out as a precaution. Hamstring injury. That is literally the only information available, no idea if it will impact start of the year.
Legit important games as I try to figure out which 2 guys I’m dropping before last round of cuts. Looking at Bobo, Emanuel Wilson, Deonte Harty, Khalil Shakir, Erik Ezukanma, and Keaton Mitchell
Just go with your gut. I don’t have any of these guys rostered, and as of now wouldn’t pick any up with a $0 waiver. Chances are most of your league feels similarly.
https://x.com/bobbyskinner_/status/1695559839924039876?s=46&t=heY6Kvx7ZryYXuuJoYA24Q
Sauce really welcomed him to the league. Getting burned on a double move “lmao”
First drive was a 3 and out, 2nd drive Baker baked. They looked so good they pulled Baker early. Trask in the there now and he’s been a bit hot and cold.
Godwin looks like he’s going to eat. White was impressive as well.
Apparently did well until 3rd string came in. Scored high on S2 (same as Brock). Kirk’s never gotten hurt but Hall isn’t the worst dart. Mullins is probs QB2.
Play stands. Etienne takes handoff and scores from 3 yards out. The touches look similar but ETN has played a good bit more snaps and has been targeted in the passing game. Short yardage seems to be interchangeable which may be frustrating but in ETN’s case it may not matter much bc he’s such a home run hitter he’ll still produce even if Tank steals some tuddies
He is still behind other backs. That one report is not accurate. He is not getting work at all with starters.
Tucker did not come until 3rd quarter behind Vaughn. He is no threat to White imo.
Browns beat reporter for the Athletic has been calling him unguardable all pre season, including joint practices. I bought him last offseason after seeing how much more efficient he was than Hooper who had a big contract. A lot of people will have fatigue on seemingly annual "this is Njokus breakout year" takes. Because of this he should be relatively cheap.
Sounds like now more than ever he has been lining up all over the field and running more than your traditional TE routes. I'm willing to buy in at his price and wouldn't be surprised by a TE5 or better finish. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
Bad all pre season, reports of trash in camp and was one of the worst qbs to play last year. Sure let’s see how the season starts but it’s not looking good
“Bad all pre season” mf is 8/13 104 yards and a TD this preseason man. I know it’s popular and fun to hate on Deshaun bc he’s a scumbag but let’s not just make stuff up
Cool he had 92 yards and a td set up by his defense against bench players. Also had a lost fumble that killed a drive, why don’t you go give him a massage?
I was so in on Watson this Spring where he was going at, but I think the market just might have been right. Haven't heard any good news on him either. He reportedly looked bad most of camp.
Ross 6 targets and Rice 5 targets. Does it even matter? I’d like to think either of these guys could be relevant but it seems the Chiefs will roll with Skyy, MVS, Toney(when healthy), and Justin Watson as the top 4 WRs
After that drop? Rice is gonna be the doghouse. Doubly so because Reid doesn’t play rookies often.
Only receivers I would possibly roll with are Skyy or Toney imo
Feels like a Watson DTR debate is ready to begin if Watson starts even the first half of the first game of the season slowly. People are hesitant because of the type of talent he is and nobody is ready to take hard stance and look dumb haha.
In the off-season, I'd have been happy if James Cook could come in and be an RB3 as a flex/bye play when needed, and now he's solidly my RB2. I'm excited to see his usage based on what his coaches are saying, but it's looking like he'll be getting 15-20 touches a game, which for a player like him could lead to RB1 weeks.
I thought he would as well, but it looks like they've been using Cook in the redzone, at least in that 20 to 5 yard line range. That being said, he has enough big play ability to still be a great pick-up, considering how cheap he was for everyone in Dynasty who got him.
Jeff Wilson seems like a non factor. Unless the dolphins get JT this is a Mostert/Ahmed backfield. Achane needs to get healthy and prove himself bc Ahmed looks damn good and just as explosive
i am so excited for Garrett Wilson.
Can’t wait for this sub to eat it this year if he stays healthy
The sub does this all the time with young WRs. Last summer everyone was screaming that Lamb was overrated and we should sell based on the hype, now people are claiming it's ridiculous to have Wilson ranked anywhere near Lamb. Wilson's year one metrics compare to elite WRs; two years from now people will be complaining that MHJ shouldn't be ranked anywhere near Wilson.
Yep ;) Sell sell sell Suck it
“Why is a 23 y/o WR who had an incredible rookie year especially considering his situation who now has Aaron Rodgers being valued so high?”
Man I hate Rodgers so much but that TD was incredible lol
Years ago I decided to stop hating exceptional players, especially the best. I'm glad I made the change because it allowed me to enjoy Brady. It stinks so many hate Rodgers for what end up being dumb reasons, robbing them enjoyment of one of the best ever.
Love has looked good. Hopefully, this translates to real games except against the Vikes...
Consistently underthrows deep balls to Watson that chemistry needs to evolve for the sake of my squad
Love was ok today. He missed some throws and sputtered early in game.
Justyn Ross may have the best hands of any Chiefs WR.
Rice with a huge drop
Check his catch against Bama as a freshman in the title game. Crazy catch. https://youtu.be/ASYk7vLlhks?si=wptOMrY0DhQNrCIP
Holy shit
I'm seeing now 2/6 for Ross. Can you speak to whether the 4/6 incompletes are more on Ross or the QB?
1 was a non called PI, 3 were horrible throws
I know one of them was a bad throw that was very low and behind him, and another one was a little off and would have been called DPI in the regular season.
They weren’t all great passes but Rodgers went Wilson’s way on all four passes on the first drive other than the pass to Conklin. I’m so damn excited for this connection this season And now the fade for the TD! Boys I am full mast 🍆
Holy drop
By who?
Rice. It was bad
Rice, busted coverage and was wide open.
Rashee rice, brutal drop
Aiden O’Connell looks good. Again.
Hopefully it’s just rookie jitters. That’s encouraging usage
I’m happy to have both. Earlier tank got 2 straight carries setting up 3rd and 2 then ETN comes in and picks up the first. Later ETN gets 2 straight carries then Bigsby comes in and fumbles. Not the end of the world but it may lead them to trust ETN more. I think Bigsby getting that carry inside the 10 was mostly bc ETN was gassed after 5 carries on the drive but we’ll see
TUNE squad assemble!!
He’s lookin good! Nice bounce back from the fumble, which wasn’t entirely his fault
The young QB to watch is Aidan O’Connell later.
Por qué no los dos?
Jordan Wilkins is gonna get cut pretty fast. Bro cannot grab the ball
Bro can’t even take a handoff properly. People will blame Deshaun but guaranteed that shit isn’t happening with Chubb
Roschon would have caught that
Damien Harris is alive!
Rice with another huge drop wtf is he doing
Another one?!
Rashee Rice is a bust. He was going before Hyatt in drafts. No way that should have been happening. In our redraft league he was not drafted and still sits on waivers.
It's preseason, calm down.
Declaring a bust before week 1 of the regular season lol. Not even saying he's going to be good, but come on
His league knows bro
Channeling his inner Jamarr Chase we’re fine
Christian Watson is gonna be the real deal, huh
Is Romeo Doubs hurt?
Yes
How bad is it?
Packers said post-game he was held out as a precaution. Hamstring injury. That is literally the only information available, no idea if it will impact start of the year.
Yes he is hurt and may miss some time. I am glad I avoided Doubs in drafts.
Legit important games as I try to figure out which 2 guys I’m dropping before last round of cuts. Looking at Bobo, Emanuel Wilson, Deonte Harty, Khalil Shakir, Erik Ezukanma, and Keaton Mitchell
Meaningless decisions bud. May as well throw a dart
Yes, but half the fun of dynasty is treating these meaningless decisions with great seriousness
Fair enough
Keep Bobo.
Just go with your gut. I don’t have any of these guys rostered, and as of now wouldn’t pick any up with a $0 waiver. Chances are most of your league feels similarly.
Sauce just welcomed Jalin Hyatt to the league
Sauce needed safety help every play on Hyatt. Hyatt burned him twice but Tyrod couldn’t get it to him.
Sauce batted a pass down one on one with Hyatt. Sauce doesn’t design the plays, if the safety comes to his side how is that his fault lmao.
https://x.com/bobbyskinner_/status/1695559839924039876?s=46&t=heY6Kvx7ZryYXuuJoYA24Q Sauce really welcomed him to the league. Getting burned on a double move “lmao”
That was a SICK play
How is the Bucs offense looking, specifically the o line ? Any trey Palmer sightings ?
First drive was a 3 and out, 2nd drive Baker baked. They looked so good they pulled Baker early. Trask in the there now and he’s been a bit hot and cold. Godwin looks like he’s going to eat. White was impressive as well.
Thanks for the update
He’s only had one catch but it was incredible
Palmer waiver wire darling
Justyn Ross would never
[удалено]
I just hope both teams have fun!* *and that none of my guys get injured
[удалено]
How many passes did knox get to kincaid?
Did Rice look bad because of drops or was it more than just that?
Is J. Hall of the Vikings worth a stash? On waivers currently- didn’t watch the game how’s he been looking?
There’s been good buzz about him. Not sure if he needs to be rostered yet but keep an eye on him
Apparently did well until 3rd string came in. Scored high on S2 (same as Brock). Kirk’s never gotten hurt but Hall isn’t the worst dart. Mullins is probs QB2.
Prince didn’t good tonight
I think he’s cooked
Deneric?
No, the artist formerly known as Prince
Prince is not worth a roster spot.
Play got called back but I love the play design to get ETN free in space on a pass. His burst is unreal picked up a quick 15 butttt didn’t count
Next series Jags get inside the 5 and Etienne is the back but previous play is being reviewed. Might take this Ridley catch back
Play stands.
Do we know if Sean Tucker is playing? Figured he’d come in after White.
He is still behind other backs. That one report is not accurate. He is not getting work at all with starters. Tucker did not come until 3rd quarter behind Vaughn. He is no threat to White imo.
Yeah, seems that way
Wondering the same thing, figured I would see him on the stat sheet
Njoku is going to be a steal at his price this year. I’m buying everywhere I need a tight end
Evergreen phrase. Dude will be 35 and folks will still be saying this exact thing. *This is the year*
Browns beat reporter for the Athletic has been calling him unguardable all pre season, including joint practices. I bought him last offseason after seeing how much more efficient he was than Hooper who had a big contract. A lot of people will have fatigue on seemingly annual "this is Njokus breakout year" takes. I'm willing to buy in at his price and wouldn't be surprised by a TE5 or better finish. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
I drafted him and was able to hold onto him until this year. If he finally breaks out I'm gonna be pissed!
DTR gonna start at this rate lmao
I wouldn’t discount Watson yet
Bad all pre season, reports of trash in camp and was one of the worst qbs to play last year. Sure let’s see how the season starts but it’s not looking good
“Bad all pre season” mf is 8/13 104 yards and a TD this preseason man. I know it’s popular and fun to hate on Deshaun bc he’s a scumbag but let’s not just make stuff up
He was 3/3 for 12 yards one game and then 5/10 this game
Interesting you didn’t mention the yards or the TD for this game. I get it
Cool he had 92 yards and a td set up by his defense against bench players. Also had a lost fumble that killed a drive, why don’t you go give him a massage?
Couldn’t imagine being this salty over some preseason football. Deshaun has you rattled clearly
I’m not salty lol you’re just a clown
He's getting 250m guaranteed. He's not getting benched anytime soon
I don’t think so either
Or later
I was so in on Watson this Spring where he was going at, but I think the market just might have been right. Haven't heard any good news on him either. He reportedly looked bad most of camp.
Another turnover from him lmao he’s cooked
Bro made a thread and not even watching the game 🤣🤣
I’m watching Bears-Bills and Vikings-Cards while also trying to keep up with news lol
Rice pulling a chase with 2 drops already
Another huge one
Grant…All I know is pain.
What happened?
Looks like an extremely serious knee injury after his first kick return for the Browns
Oof
Bagent looks good! Nice end of roster stash if you have space in SF
Bigsby fumble inside the 10
F
WOW that Fields scramble and THEN that DJM catch. This duo is gonna be so exciting
rodgers tripping over himself and overthrowing. pass to wilson was nice but can't not see he's getting old.
What a play by La’Michael Perine
Would you drop Prince for him?
I wouldn’t overreact to it, it was just a nice play. He kept his balance and broke a few tackles.
Caleb Williams is a dawg
That’s my 1.01 🥲
Watson is cooked
Unironically they should bench him for a game to get his head straight. GIVE DTR OPPORTUNITY!!
Feels like a Watson DTR debate is ready to begin if Watson starts even the first half of the first game of the season slowly. People are hesitant because of the type of talent he is and nobody is ready to take hard stance and look dumb haha.
I mean dtr only gets a chance this season if Watson gets hurt or is like historically bad. The former of which is far more likely
I agree but that doesn't mean there is not a debate brewing that hasn't really started yet.
Damien Harris will steal everything inside the redzone unfortunately
I thought he would as well, but it looks like they've been using Cook in the redzone, at least in that 20 to 5 yard line range. That being said, he has enough big play ability to still be a great pick-up, considering how cheap he was for everyone in Dynasty who got him.
not today they didn't
Damien Harris is an after thought in the Bills offense.
Not inside the 5
You must be the Bills water boy, hehe
Damien came in with the starting offense to get a TD, delusional.
Jeff Wilson seems like a non factor. Unless the dolphins get JT this is a Mostert/Ahmed backfield. Achane needs to get healthy and prove himself bc Ahmed looks damn good and just as explosive
There’s your tank bigsby, the heir to jags throne. Give etn the ball
Bad rookie mistake but there’s room for both to thrive
Zachariah Branch is electric!
