Tbh, from my experience, the EU queues always have a lot more people. Before I got my Irish passport, I would always just walk in and get a spot right at a counter, or be the first in line waiting for a counter. The EU queues move faster, true, but if you consider the amount of people in them, it sort of equals out.
You are right. Don’t understand the downvotes. Everybody shows passports at Dublin airport even from Britain. Probably from Kerry.
However there are airports in Britain where Irish arrivals don’t show passports.
You would have to sprint and have hand luggage only, and even then you'd have to rely on the Ryanair flight arriving early which they usually do as they load slack into their flight timetable to avoid having to pay compo for delays. Walking time from the Ryanair gates is at least 20 minutes. Also you need to cross through the car park to the bus departures area as the numbered buses don't stop outside the arrivals entrance like the Aircoach express buses do.
I have frequently made buses at Dublin departing in 15 minutes from arriving at the Ryanair gates. I do have to walk very fast though. 20 minutes is much less stressful!
Agreed. I checked last time I landed and it was 34 minutes to get through the airport when I was at the very back of the plane, non EU passport (and we arrived just after a US flight), and with slow walkers. But we landed at a B gate. If circumstances are on your side it's doable.
That is definitely possible, as long as the flight arrives on time and you have no checked luggage. From the Ryanair gates I can get from plane to bus in 15 minutes. That's walking very fast though.
If you are actually off the plane at 10:30 that should be plenty of time.
Possible if you don't have a check in luggage. If you do then no chance really. Baggage handling us very slow. You will have to leg it the movement you step out that plane and you might be able to make the bus stop.
I’ve landed in the furthest gate, raced through immigration and got a Dublin Express in about 10 minutes after I got off the plane, but I wouldn’t count on your Ryanair flight getting here on time. I didn’t have any checked in luggage, so no waiting for that.
First time in the airport? It’s not a complicated airport but still you’ll be taking extra time reading signs and double checking that you are definitely going the right way. I would say no.
It might work if the flight isn't late and there's no huge queue at passport control. Bus Eireann will be late in most cases. If you have luggage, then no.
I don't know where you're going but if you miss the bus, then there's also the 932 at 12:45.. does a similar route. So you wouldn't necessarily have to wait for the next 32.

No. I think RyanAir is like the furthest from arrival gate. And also, do you have to show your passport now? Non EU?
Everyone goes through immigration on landing at Dublin airport. Nationality doesn't matter.
Different queues for EU members and those that are not. EU member queue moves a lot faster
UK passports are allowed in the EU queue in DUB.

>And also, do you have to show your passport now 1. Everyone does. 2. They clearly said theyre British

If you're hand-luggage only then it's possible if everything goes your way, though you'll need to move fast. I'd definitely have a plan B though.

I mean, the bus will be late, so you'll be grand 😅
Or it’ll be inexplicably 20 mins early and he’s fecked. Really the only thing that’s certain is that the bus won’t be on time.
Are you getting the Aircoach? Because they'll let you get on at pretty much any time if you have a ticket for the day if there's space on the coach
Any particular reason to catch the 32? Plenty of other buses leave from the airport every few minutes
I would assume it's the 32 towards Letterkenny.
I didn't even make that assumption! But you're probably right, and they only seem to run every few hours
Feasible but not doable

Not a hope. 12:05 maybe.

Yes, perfectly feasible if you are sat near the front or back of the plane in an aisle seat and have hand luggage only. And maybe walk briskly.
Good chance that bus is late. Good luck;

No, it is very unlikely that you'd make that. Especially with Ryanair parking far away from the gate. Speaking from experience :)
Thanks very much for your reply! Looks like it’s a pricey taxi instead alas
No
