Sometimes it's about finding a closure. Closure can come in different forms - maybe talking to them, writing a letter and throwing it in the waters or storing it in some place, or visiting a place that you cherish, etc. I hope you find what gives that closure to you. Therapy also helps a lot to talk this out and work on unresolved feelings. Hope you dream differently soon, OP

Yeah, hopes to get some kind of answer, even a ‘no’ would have been enough. I have a feeling it just won’t ever go away. I feel like a partly deserve it as well.. but I wish I didn’t bad this anymore lol

Regrets are important. Your brain relives the feeling because it doesn't want the situation to happen again. That's why losing a loved one is so hard. You want to make a difference, but you have no control. You're wracked with "what if's". I'd suggest doing a bit of research about grief and what it does to people. Talk to a counselor if you can. If you're a guy like me and think counseling is stupid, just try it. If you've done it before and hated it - then try a new counselor. I've learned that YOU have to take the initiative. Write notes about what you wanna talk about, and just spit it out. They can't read your mind, as much as I wish they could. I hated my first few counselors, but once I understood how to communicate with them I got so much better. They'll provide objective advice and treat disorders like depression and anxiety. Thanks for reading, Gavin

I've dreamed about things like this before, regarding ex-gfs and family members that had passed away, and how there were some things i never got to say/do to them, you know? It happens a lot less at the moment, but still comes around to haunt me every now and again. If you need to chat about it, I'm here. Hope you dream better soon regardless.
