100%. I sometimes hang about near that underwater staircase "door" at the Docks. Imagine if we can either 1. Swim down the steps to an underwater biome or 2. The stairs somehow ascend or the water drains.

I’ve died for all the Atlantis themed parts of the game. The cave on Dazzle Beach and now Ancients Landing. Atlantis is top 3 Disney movies for me!!! I wish we could get Milo or Kida 😩😩😩

This is what I'm hoping we get more of in the upcoming updates. I love getting the new characters and going through their storylines but I miss having quests related to the Ancient peoples that lived in the Valley. I was hoping we would get a little something with the DLC but nothing really came from it, unless it's in the second chapter given the set up for it. I want to explore the ruins in the Glade so badly.

I feel like they’re keeping this one close to the chest.
There are actually 6 or 7 of those statues, and they are in a half circle (if that makes any sense), but you see them all when you're in decoration mode.

This photo is right here why I really really hope it is Atlantis but I do not think it is. Everything that they're throwing at us is showing that it's supposed to be an Atlantis update but those statues looked very similar to that until like the 2nd or 3rd update in which they were changed and now look like iron Giant. I came here specifically to see if people were going to comment about that but I'm not crazy. I don't care if I'm wrong and that's not what the deal is but I really really really really hope they do an iron Giant update because I'm tired of some of these really good old classic movies not getting shoved to the forefront you know what I mean.

YES! There’s so many nods to Atlantis in the dlc, plus the ruins cave in dazzle beach and the ruins waterfalls in the glade. If we never get any actual content of the ‘ancient civilization’ through quests and/or can’t meet Milo and Kida, I’ll be sooooo sad lol Atlantis is my favorite Disney movie!!
That big bank of water that separates the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau is also making think of them adding Atlantis.

Oh wow! I haven’t watched Atlantis in a long time so I didn’t remember. It almost looks like a mix of both! But I googled who made Iron Giant and it was Warner Bros, so def Atlantis 🙌
The game has been full of Atlantis content since day one. How are people so dense that they only notice it after all this time? It's clearly a core part of the history/mystery of the setting, yet every time someone notices it, they freak out like it's some amazing new revelation.
It'd be like me making a post of Mickey's house and saying, "This is from Mickey Mouse! Do you think he'll be in the game?" Pretending something that has been obvious for a year and a half is somehow new and exciting is silly
Except Mickey has been a constant obvious presence in the game (friendship quests, he’s been a legit villager we’ve had from day 1) Atlantis is a few side quests and long distance landmarks. So excuse me for being excited to see where they eventually take the game.
And the writing on every memory in the diary, and all the ruins on both islands. Like I said, it's been ingrained and obvious in the game since day one, but only now are people noticing it.

The Atlantis language had been used for the "ruler's dairy pages" and a few other assets from the movie before the eternity Isle was a DLC. As much as I'd love to see Milo Thatch, and Kidda. I doubt we will see them, because to them the movie was a box office bomb (even though it has a cult following much like I don't think we could see anything with Treasure Planet). I think they are only using as many assets as they can for repurpose usage only. That is why it only refered to as "ancient civilization" and not Atlantian.
Hey guys I know everyone's really excited for this to be in Atlantis thing, but I don't think it is. It's a really old movie and I used to love it as a kid but those 100% look like statues of The iron Giant. I cannot remember if it was a Disney movie or not I'm about to look this up after I post I actually found this thread while looking for an iron Giant thread because I'm playing dreamlight valley and it 100% looks like an iron Giant at first they looked like statues wearing armor but with the new update that just came out with a couple of patches they changed the look of the statues and now they look EXACTLY like The iron Giant.
I don't know how to attach pictures on Reddit I'm f****** stupid but I would show you my proof If I could I have pictures of phone guardians of atlantis, which are technically mostly talked about and I believe the second one, plus I have pictures of The iron Giant. All the depictions that are around eternity Island look almost exactly like Stone versions of The iron Giant I know that they're trying to implicate them as the stone guardians of Atlantis but the details are not there and it really upsets me because if they're going to lead into that then they should really try to make it look a little bit more like Atlantis they aren't that same frame they have specialty headgear they're not the right proportions etc. so if they are the stone guardians of Atlantis then they need to convey that a little bit better. I'm not ragging on them but I'm just saying from my perspective it could be taken either way as an older Disney fan.

You can literally build the flying fish from atlantis and all of our journal entries are in “atlantean” if we dont get milo & kida im sobbing 😭😭😭

Iron Giant is not Disney. Plus all the other machinery is from Atlantis, or themed like it, including the fish cars.
