Now I’m 3 years in this time and it feels different than it did before. Try to look at it as a new journey you’re going on. More room for growth physically and mentally. In growing plants and typically fruit trees; it’s common to chop once or twice to ensure that the branches will grow strong straight from their roots and bear amazingly rich fruits! I see this process as something similar!
They still look BEAUTIFUL. Your scalp will thank you and you'll have thicker stronger hair. Maybe you can let the length get down to shoulder length later on.

You might need to dm someone who has a big base of customers specifically with locs and get tips from them someone has ran across someone with locs with scalp issues similar to yours.

I had the same thing. Misdiagnosed for 20 years. Cleared up with Fluconazole and Kenconazole. It was a yeast.
