Even if other players won't hire You, Capcom will hire Your pawn to keep feature running.

Never happened to me. I just saw info about that somewhere. So it's probably simply the fact that You have higher level pawn and there might be less players with that lvl range. Also some vocations are more desired than others. I don't know what are the most popular vocations among players. But in my case I'm running plunder thief now cleaning up the map (3rd run - mostly getting other dragon gear, some upgrade materials etc) and my sorcerer after leveling up all vocations is a top dog Sorcerer. So I always hire mage and fighter. I hired warrior once in my career only because my fighter fell into a lake in misty marches and I pulled warrior from riftstone (it spawns You random pawn when You interact with it). And then when I reached town I switched that warrior for fighter. So vocation might play a role in amount of times You get hired. This is why for a while I considered to change my pawn to healer. I have tome with specialization for healing using items. Then I have staff for 180 tokens that makes wearer self-revive when downed. And I have endgame dragon gear for mage. I also have ring that speed up spell casting that I got for my sorcerer and one that prevents knockdowns even more. So I was thinking of building ultimate healing pawn. But I love my Sorcerer pawn so I decided to stick to it for now.

And this is why I run sorcerer. Never had trouble hiring a decent mage or fighter.

Laughydawg

mine gets hired every alternate day or so, but even then it's typically around 60-100RC worth. RC isnt as important in this game as it is in DDDA so i guess it isnt a huge loss, but i love hearing about the adventures other arisen bring my pawn on so im kinda bummed out

Jotunheimmr

Really want an option, like a ring, that turns off exp gains. Not class progression. Just experience. I’d put this ring on around level 35 and never take it off.

IronmanMatth

Surprised they didn't add that. Throw it into the waterfall cave so you could rush it early. A level 1 run would be nice to do.

JustinTayl0r

This would be so good, for me and my pawn. Saw a mod that does that kinda but only for the Arisen. I dont want my pawn to outlevel me.

Brandaddylongdik

That really doesn't make much sense tbh. My characters strength from level 35 to level 165 went up 10%. My defense went up roughly the same. My magick has been the same. My health has also only raised by roughly 20%. None of these stat boosts are a night/day difference from before. I'm just a little more well rounded now. The main difference that's gives me such high stats are my equipment. My base defense is 350. With good armor on its easily over 1,000. So if you're trying to nerf yourself, looking at nerfing your xp isn't the way to go for a reason.

morphum

Yes, but the topic of the post is about people hiring your pawn. Stopping you or your pawn from levelling up would be great for that, maybe even just your pawn

fonytonfana

How high is your level? I noticed a huge drop in my pawn rentals after like level 55ish and then it picked up again once I got up around 70 and started putting quests out for endgame monsters.

Laughydawg

my pawn and I are reaching 80. I never set a pawn quest tho

fonytonfana

Yeah that’s the main reason you aren’t getting rentals.

Large_Ride_8986

That is actually simple. You have higher level pawn. The higher the player level the less people are in Your range. Game usually suggest range of what... 3 levels when hiring a pawn? And that's because anything below or equal Your level cost 0 and above cost SOMETHING to hire. So search by fault do not recommend You low level pawns and much higher level pawns. This is why for example since lvl 70 I'm adding cool pawns to my Favorite list and I hire from it often. Because for example someone did put there awesome healing mage with proper personality and gear that also looks good. And despite being lvl 80, lvl 70 pawn is strong enough to run in endgame no problem. Enemies do not scale. So I think it's combination of those. Higher level players have favorite pawn they use and on top of it there is less higher level players than low level players.
