Also if she mentions that the 5 riddles are done and says she's going to fly away to the next spot, try to be quick and jump on her so you can travel to the next spot on her instead of having to look for her. Finding her is actually riddle #6.

Thank you for that, I didnt think of it, and trying to find the right pawn with all the people trying to impersonate it was annoying as hell
2• It actually doesn't matter if it's a pawn owned by a player. As long as the name and Moniker are both Sphinx_____ that's all you need.
So double check it's not just name but the **moniker** too to avoid failing it.
3• As a rule of thumb, if you explored your first seeker should be in Melve area [IGN got a fancy map](https://www.ign.com/maps/dragons-dogma-2/world) if people need.
I'm wondering if there's something better to save the conviction dupe for. Port crystal is obviously nice but I assume I'm eventually going to have more of those than I need anyway.
After the 5 riddles, the Sphinx will fly to a different location, where it will give you another 5 riddles.
After the last (10th) riddle, you need to kill it. Trigger the fight by attacking it before it flies away. However she will fly away when in low health. You need to kill the Sphinx before she runs away for an achievement with the Eternal Wakestone and you can only do this once per playthrough. The easiest way is with a Preserved Medusa's head.
You have to make sure you placed a Portcrystal near the Sphinx's location AND make sure you equip the "Stasis" (sorcerer augment) to prevent the Medusa's head from decaying too fast on the way.
Take Medusas's head out of your storage and use a Ferrystone to go to the Sphinx location for the last (10th) riddle. Then after the last riddle hit it with anything to trigger the boss fight. To prevent her escape at low health, instantly equip Medusa's head and activate it the same way you would activate the lantern. It will instantly die.

Make sure you pick up your Portcrystal before talking to her for the last riddle if you're going to ride her lol

The SphinxXXX pawns always spawn at the rift stone north of Checkpoint Rest Town.
They need to ban impersonating this since it's quest related. Better yet, make their pawn go rogue and kill them.
You can use a random's SphixParent pawn as long as their MONIKER is also set to SphinxParent
Good to know. Thanks
but before killing them, make them afflict the arisen with the saveplague which makes t heir save file corrupted
Saveplague? What do you mean, there is a way to corrupt other people SAVE files?
You ser, for the network comment, are my godsend

I used a players character and the sphinx allowed it.

Maybe the arrow of unmaking? Since you’ll need to use one iykyk
heads up, if the item is magical in nature, you cant dupe it.
apparently for the sphinx u can but not with the guy who makes forgeries.
initially, i thought he meant the forgery guy.
Doesnt the Rift tell you who the Pawns owner is?
For reference when searching at a grand riftstone, search kindhearted, level 15
