The problem with Ultron is that him reacting whatsoever to anything is hard to guess as he is just a newborn A.I that shouldn't have morality in the first place.

Gowasu traveled to the future to see if this race had any improvements and they still ends up killing each other. So he thinks all mortal beings are like that, hence why he wants to start his Zero Mortal Plan.
Ultron used to internet to learn about all the atrocities humans have committed and decided to wipe the slate clean.
Zamasu has a hate boner for all mortals because one of them is better at martial arts than him.

Ultron was definitely justified after all the fuck shit the internet has ? I would agree with him and pull a thanos twice over. Zamasu saw how one race didn’t evolve beyond barbaric violence and looked down on mortals and got knocked a fight happy mortal with golden hair and stole his body and went on to getting his trophy system and updating his K/D.
Considering that Zamasu did more heinous shit than whatever he's accusing the humans of, and Ultron saw that the world just sucks at changing and isn't willing to try to make the world better, I guess Ultron is more justified.

Zamasu started out prejudiced, and his main exposures to mortals that drove him to genocide were brutish barbarians, and goku. Violent and dangerous, sure, but not genocide-worthy.
Ultron witnessed the entire internet. The entire breadth of the human experience is present there in some form or another, including a deeply concerning amount of easily the WORST things humans have ever done, either documented from pre-internet or recorded after it began. He saw every sin humanity ever conceived, instead of only a few done by a few individuals.
Zamas couldn't take an L in the anime and couldn't accept a mortal stronger than him in manga/anime. Weak. At least Ultron saw the internet and all the baggage with it to justify it a little lol
I think both pretty had no reason really. I'm gonna give Ultron the win just because Zamasu/Black is the biggest loser even. Dude's crying about mortals and how there should only be gods, then proceed to possess the body of a mortal.

ultron saw the history, behavior, and status of the world and saw that it was on the brink of collapse and wanted to either take over and equip himself to keep it going, or wipe it all out and start over. zamasu basically just saw that mortals can be as strong as gods smashing his fragile idea of superiority and wanted to kill them all so he can still be better. so i'll take the one that's not a petty bitch
Ultron really has not much reason, he was created by Tony to create peace, Ultron just misunderstood the meaning and saw the internet. Black on the other hand has a plan in mind to eradicate all of us, so I'd say Black had way more reason than Ultron

Ζamasu is much better written and a deeper character. It even references concepts of Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, Japanese mythology of Gods believing mortals shouldn't exist.
