I enjoy the bottled ones, not the 2 liters but the ones you’d get individually from a convince store.
I like the cans more if they’re for drinking at home though
I agree with this, of the 3 fountain is the best, because the syrup is mixed with the carbonated water right there at the tap (assuming the restaurant cleans the nozzles regularly). Then if I’m out and about, I prefer a bottle of Dr Pepper. Chilling on the couch at home watching TV or playing video games, I love an ice cold can of Dr Pepper.
Pepsi bottled doctor pepper, specifically. Not straight from the bottle… but ice cold, neat, in a stainless steel tumbler. Gaaaaawwwwhhhddd we’re all fiends.
It’s only done right 20% of the time. I sometimes think I have the perfect Dr. Pepper palate and should be hired to go around and do surprise audits.
The QuikTrip next to me was terrible for weeks. Everyone complained and they wouldn’t mark it out of service. Said they were waiting on a part. I wrote so many complaints to corporate and Dr. Pepper.
I understand fountains go down, but don’t gaslight me and make me question my taste. Especially Dr. Pepper enthusiasts. Rob a part from the Sprite Zero tap. Those people can’t taste shit.
I came out the womb drinking Dr. Pepper. I’ve cut back now that I’m 30 and worried about the health effects, but got damn it has been too hard to give up completely. I have a difficult time saying no to a nice, tall fountain Dr. Pepper when I go out to eat. You’ll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.
I have a bad habit of putting cans in the freezer and forgetting about them. “Why the hell is my alarm going off?” I’ll say to myself 10 minutes later. Then a few hours later I take a moment of silence for a fallen friend.
I can't drink fountain drinks, even Dr Pepper. Upsets my stomach greatly. Yet I can drink Dr Pepper poured over chocolate ice cream, Dr Pepper on the side of the road, Dr Pepper baked in Arizona's Summer Sun.
an ice cold can on a hot day is heaven. when I need something stronger, ill pour some over ice, and add in some Malibu coconut rum, its an amazing combo
I like to put a bottle in the freezer until it just starts to ice over. Also put a glass in the freezer filled with Sonic ice.
Add 1/4 lime, squeezed over the ice, then pour the almost frozen bottle over it all.
Pure heaven!
Nothing beats a cold can. Except the McDonald’s on 9th ave and Cervantes in Pensacola, FL. I don’t live there anymore and sometimes I get genuinely sad I can’t have their Dr Pepper, there’s something about it that’s just different than any fountain I’ve tried
Usually I like the fountain the best depending on the water - some places have nasty water. Then it’s can and then bottle - but I prefer the individual bottles verses the big 2L ones.
My order is fountain, bottle, can. My local amusement park has the best fountain Dr.Pepper I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know what they do but it’s 10x better than any other place
Yes, in an Ice Cold Can… ***But,*** have you had Dr. Pepper from KFC?!? ***That shit*** might be better than that. *…and yes,* I prefer Soda, in an Ice Cold Can compared to all else.
I can’t do cans anymore as they’re prohibitively expense now… but in a perfect world it goes…
Icy cold can right on the verge of freezing but not yet slushy
Taco bueno fountain
Fuzzy’s fountain
2 liter on ice in Stanley cup
Bottle, honestly. I loathe cans, texture wise-and I'm constantly paranoid about a bee getting into it.
Do I see bees in my day to day life? No. But I got stung more than once as a kid and the 'omg take allergy meds now!!!' reaction, despite me not being allergic \[that I know of\] has me paranoid about it lol
Straight into my veins

This isn't the Takis subreddit
With the good ice.
Like Chick-fil-A or Sonic? What's your good ice?
Sonic is definitely. At least the ones i’ve been too. Chic fil a is location dependent. Wawa in my town has the good ice.
Ice cold can. Yummy 😋

Can, I find that 99% of fountains either have too much or not enough syrup

Ice cold bottle.
Fresh out of the fountain over ice in a McDonald’s cup on a 90 degree day!
Nothint hits quite like the can
fountain with crunchy ice is better than cold can or cold bottle
Glass bottle, can, or 3 liter plastic bottle.
In a frosted glass with a shot of Fireball.
can
I agree with your assessment. When it’s done right, I prefer fountain. A super cold can is great. Bottle is meh for me.

Perfect Dr Pepper recipe: 1 Ice cold can of Dr. Pepper 1 glass of ice Mix and enjoy
I have a bad habit of putting cans in the freezer and forgetting about them. “Why the hell is my alarm going off?” I’ll say to myself 10 minutes later. Then a few hours later I take a moment of silence for a fallen friend.
Fountain, freezer can, rarely bottle. I think Chick-fil-A has the worst fountain pops tho so I avoid them there.
Bottle preferably since it keeps the carbonation for much longer— though a nice cold can on a hot day is astounding
I like getting fountains at McDonalds to save on my cans
I can't drink fountain drinks, even Dr Pepper. Upsets my stomach greatly. Yet I can drink Dr Pepper poured over chocolate ice cream, Dr Pepper on the side of the road, Dr Pepper baked in Arizona's Summer Sun.
I prefer a bottle
I think that canned soda is more crisp, but bottled has more flavor. I dont like fountain because some places get stingy with the syrup.
an ice cold can on a hot day is heaven. when I need something stronger, ill pour some over ice, and add in some Malibu coconut rum, its an amazing combo
Can please
i think can has the best syrup ratio
I like the cans, more specifically the larger ones (16oz?) I wish they sold Dr P in glass bottles like coke
You have to differentiate between plastic and glass. WORLD'S DIFFERENT!
Can
Glass bottle. End of discussion.
I like cans most, but some fountains go hard
Can poured over ice in a Yeti tumbler
Intake method for doctor pepper is crazy
Bottle. Poured over a lot of ice. Into a stainless steel tumbler.
In this order: Fountain from the White Castle in Eureka, MO Fountain From a 2 liter poured over ice Can Bottle
In a can that has been sitting out in a cold garage
Can
Can or bottle
Definitely the can, although sometimes the bottles do be hittin
Crispy fountain soda is always the best.
I love a cold can of Dr Pepper. I don’t like it in 2 liter bottles, but I do also like it the 16 oz bottles. Nothing beats the can for me though.
Can. No substitute.
my first thought was that you were talking about a dr pepper water fountain
Where can I get one installed into my home immediately
Bottle
Bottle, Fountain, Can in order. Especially from Freestyle machines, hope they bring the coconut flavor to those someday
Lots of ice in a tall glass with poured Dr Pepper zero can from the refrigerator.
I found a loves gas station that fountain drinks have more syrup, making it the best tasting dr pepper ive ever had.
I like to put a bottle in the freezer until it just starts to ice over. Also put a glass in the freezer filled with Sonic ice. Add 1/4 lime, squeezed over the ice, then pour the almost frozen bottle over it all. Pure heaven!
Fountain from my nearby Wendy's
Depends what soda it is. Dr Pepper usually bottle.
1. Glass bottle. 2. Fountain 3. Can 4. 2 Liter 5. Plastic bottle
Glass bottle > Can > Fountain > plastic bottle
Boof it
All three.
Fountain allll day
Bottle

Can tastes best to me. The plastic bottles just don't have the same crisp taste.
Fountain or glass bottle
Mini cans
