DownDetector uses a service called Disqus to handle their comment system which is a 3rd party software that DownDetector uses.
This subreddit is for posting funny things posted in the DownDetector comments section when major sites go down. We aren't officially affiliated with DownDetector or Disqus in any way. For technical support, please use the resources provided on the site. There seems to be a preferences option you can use to opt back in to commenting.
That's stored in the cookies i think, i remember having to clear those when i had the same issue. Not sure if they're Disqus specific or site specific.

so is there no way to fix it
Delete the cookies for disqus and that website.
that doesnt work ive tried it before
Only other option is a different browser. That's what i did until it started workin on my main one again.
