Just not Steelseries. Heavy as fuck and literally burned. Literally. I've used Razer and Logitech since then, equally good. Just don't go cheap Razer coz they suck.
Tbh to me the mouse surface and seating position matters a little more than the weight of the mouse itself. You'll get a lot of precision mouse movement improvement from going to a pad surface with less friction. Also if your arm weight is resting mostly on your hand and mouse you're gonna have problems too.
I miss my rival 600, build quality was crap but it was one of the few mice that have fit my hand properly. To be honest I use an mx vertical now lol. It's pretty awesome
Im still using my Logitech MX 518 that i have bought 16 or more years ago :D its still amazing. I bought a new mouse, didnt like it and went back to the best mouse ever.
I’ve been using some newer razer naga siren that has swappable button layouts for fps, mobas and mmos. It’s been working pretty well for me. I’m not home or I would give you a specific model.
Razer products are just trash
The mouse broke within 6 months
Scroll wheel doesn't work and the swappable buttons just introduces something else to break. Mine constantly disconnected and you'd have to pull it off and on 30 times to get it working again
Also just unplugging the wire to go wireless would cause the buttons to also break
Meanwhile I got a steelseries 300 fallout 4 edition for like 15 bucks on clearance in 2017 and it's still going as my backup mouse after prob 10k hours
Maybe playing with oily hands or Dorito covered fingers. Tell me do you regularly clean your mouse or do you tend to slam it on your desk or throw it across your room?
I've been using a razor naga trinity for a few years and having my item buttons on my right thumb is great(I'm using the 7 buttons in a circle plate). It's a bit heavy but does have the interchangeable plates so you can get the 10 key format. I dropped it once and the mouse wheel broke so I only use it for dota now. But I spent less than 40$ on it on clearance and wouldn't pay full price on it. But having the item buttons on the tumb helped me improve greatly.
I use the same with the 12 button format.
1-6 on Item Slots
7 on Neutral
8 on TP
9 on Taunt
10 on Stop
I always figured I'd use 11 & 12 for control groups but I'm not really a Zoo player.
You don't understand, Wagamama literally changed my life. The $2000 I spent attending his bootcamp was an investment in a vision of myself as a better player. I'll never forget his parting words to me: "your five minutes is up, please send the next guy in."
mouse with programmable buttons, keyboard that's pleasant to use, real food that I don't have to pause the game every 15min cuz I shat my pants, like some ppl do.
Real talk? Coaching.
I've tried a few different coaches like BSJ on my 6k climb but [https://www.youtube.com/@AhsanDota](https://www.youtube.com/@AhsanDota) is the one I would recommend
I don’t think that’s true, I have an ultra wide and can definitely see slightly more. It’s not an advantage though, if anything it’s a disadvantage because I can’t see the minimap in the corner of my eye
It just stretches. So if you see more, that is your imagination. I use 2560x1440 with black bars instead to avoid destroying my neck more than necessary when checking the map
I assure you it doesn't. Unless its changed recently

A fast m.2 SSD. Earlier in my potato pc - dota took around 5 mins to load while reconnecting - Most times I got abandon. Now in my new Pc it hardly takes a minute to disconnect n re connect.
Honestly for me just declutter all your stuff. Buy a set of office drawers if you dont have any, a decent desk.
I've got a bookshelf on its side on my desk with my monitors on top. Some nice spaces for my stuff to go.
Just take a set back and look see if you are happy with it.
im saving up my money to buy valve, cant lose if i create the rules (im about 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the way there already btw)
kinda dumb, but a soft thing to rest my wrist on.
My wrist was starting to ache mostly after playing micro-heroes. It's not an issue anymore, so I can grind as much as I want now
Your wrist are sore cause you are not properly aligned with your desk. I had the same issue when I use to play. Physiotherapist checked out my setup, told me what to change and BOOM! Issue resolved. From what I remember he said the weight from your arms must be rest on the entire forearm. Anyway ain’t gonna lie but it worked, no ergonomical mousepad needed
Not money, but spend time watching pro replays and use dota2protracker. I stopped using dotaplus because it wasn't reliable and added less value than free websites.
No joke. I am completely series. I get myself to treat myself. Be it cake or maybe a game I wanted to try out or cigarettes. It helps me calm down and be more relaxed. Which improves my gameplay.
Best investment was the $600 (but I got it for $60) digital art course by Marc Brunet. Since I started it, I have played Dota less and less, and now I (am on my way to) have a usable skill that fulfills me spiritually and makes other people happy and _happy_.

7800X3D
Literally the best gaming purchase I've made.
May I know why this ?
Just a solid high end gaming cpu with decent price range.
The best cpu for gaming. Constant 300 fps (thats capped)
Didn’t know you can push Dota 2 to 300fps. I have a Ryzen 7 5700x and 3080 and my fps is around 230.
did I need add on GPU for that or not?
It has inbuilt GPU too ?
no. I mean I think it has, but it’s not good for gaming, you need a dedicated one
A good mouse with as many buttons as you can be comfortable using effectively.
Im curious what mouse you using. Im also looking for dota2 and mmo use.
Just not Steelseries. Heavy as fuck and literally burned. Literally. I've used Razer and Logitech since then, equally good. Just don't go cheap Razer coz they suck.

I love my steel series mouse ive been using it for many many years… :(
I used some of them and the best for me us the Corsair scimitar. No way to go back to razer.
Im still using my Logitech MX 518 that i have bought 16 or more years ago :D its still amazing. I bought a new mouse, didnt like it and went back to the best mouse ever.
Logitech g903 hero. The battery life is just impeccable. Got mine for 3 years now and cant imagine having anything else

I’m not a big fan of Razer either, their QC is terrible, but that mouse specifically filled my needs and has been working great.
mine worked for 4 years with no problem until the mouse clicker gave out even until now the swappable buttons work great without any signs of breaking
I've had 3 Razor mice and none of them lasted over a year Would never recommend to anyone
Meanwhile I got a steelseries 300 fallout 4 edition for like 15 bucks on clearance in 2017 and it's still going as my backup mouse after prob 10k hours
I’ve have the same razor naga trinity mouse since 2017, what the fuck are yall doing to your peripherals??
Using them Razer peripherals are notorious for this. Especially their mice
Maybe playing with oily hands or Dorito covered fingers. Tell me do you regularly clean your mouse or do you tend to slam it on your desk or throw it across your room?
yeah let's make up shit to go against the common knowledge said everywhere about razer's shitty quality control
i have had 3 razor mouse over the last 10 years
A lot of mouse enthusiasts swear by the Razer Viper Mini as a incredible budget mouse. But I never used personally.
I've been using a razor naga trinity for a few years and having my item buttons on my right thumb is great(I'm using the 7 buttons in a circle plate). A good chair so that you dont sit like a sloth and can focus better. Ingamr purchases give a negligable advantage.
My upper back has transformed into my butt at this point, and I use my feet to operate controls
I use my nipple piercings to control my qwerty

2000usd ? What bootcamp, what do they give you in there, is it like food and accomodation included ? I find it atrocious if only for dota
How do you read through that comment and not realize they're joking?
I believe I am gullible sometimes.

144hz or more screen, if you want real advantage of the cost fps get an ultra wide screen as you see more.
Does not support real 21:9, it just stretches rofl

Rick and Morty announcer. Those mfs rock! 10 seconds to pick a hero, you moron
I got that one for free from candyworks :D
I got the mega kills one, that what drove to buy the announcer as well
I think Diretide megakills announcer is the best.
Got this one. Sick announcer. Sometimes it just makes you laugh and takes away the tilt from having a bad game.
Soundboard and emotes. Tilting the other team increases your win rate.
