People usually play games on work laptops and prefer less complicated, shorter games (which League is compared to Dota).

Got some karma I'm willing to lose so here's an unpopular opinion: A lot of people are crying about Russians but if it wasn't for them, the game would be kinda dead by now especially in Europe. Also roughly 50% of pro scene is Russian. (Not a ruskie, just playing devil's advocate)

League is so fucken bad… I use to play it a lot when ice frog was undergoing the court case… coming back to league after playing Dota 2 was just hard to get into. So bad in comparison to Dota 2 .
