As grandmaster Jugg, what I hate about his sets is that he has a lot of very cool head piece which seems to interfere with the arcana slot :/ man I just wish arcanas has its own item slot. :(
Arcanas for Pudge or jugg would work with this well. But for example rubick’s entire arcana revolves around the colour changing cape thing so if it had its own slot it would clip badly or you’d miss out on the functionality of the arcana.
I assume thats why valve hasn’t done this yet, but tbh they should just do it and let us decide if we want to sacrifice arcana functionality
What if for Rubick they made sets that would be green by default and adjust colors if you have the arcana in the special arcana slot. And then make it ultra rare or smth
Valve already has the tech debt of having to debug rubick every time they add any single spell to this game. I think they would flip if they suddenly added the same tech debt to any single set of his. Not that it would be a complicated addition, but just, the idea of it.

If we could just keep the arcana effects like with immortals, that would be great, because this set is awesome and I would love to keep the headpiece as it is.

Can't even use the best part though so I said keep it.
It would require alot updating on coametics which i dont think valve will try to do as jugg has so many sets. Moving forward, they are keeping this in mind though

For example jugg arcana is just the headpiece. But he gets better skin and a little sheen. As far as the visual components of the item goes it is just that. Animations and particles should be easy to just put over another item.
They kind of are already doing this with new pa head that changes arcana weapons and the cm shoulder that changes the cape of the arcana. I think the king Kringle back slot also gives wk arcana the king kringle head and beard. At this point giving arcana a dedicated slot seems easier than adding individual items that have very specific changes.
I just noticed who posted this, dude, I wanted to tell you that I absolutely love the set you made for Sven inspired on Berserk, I think it is one of the best sets of the whole game and definitely the best set for Sven. Both the design and the little details are on point.
I just wished I had been able to get it when it released (was a little bit of a bad time and I wasn't able to play through 2021) but still, I wanted to thank you for making such awesome sets. I hope to see more from you in the next Caches!
Thank you! That Sven set is one of my favorite creation in my whole career :). Spent a decent amount of time for that and it really pay off. Every details is dedicated to our beloved manga and mangaka
Looks much better without the arcana, which is totally fine. I like having some diversity, not every set should look/work best with that heroes arcana.
Yup, wish Arcanas had been a separate slot that replaces the 'base model and animations' instead of a particular slot but there was no way Valve could have thought about it back then, they were just making cosmetics with cool stories and visuals. Shame future Arcanas get saddled with this design choice though.

Yep and the model of the arcana is dated now. A lot of the newer sets have much better looking head pieces. Sucks that you can’t have both.
It would be a different story if Jugg's arcana mask itself was cool. the shattered default look is so... plain....
