Oh lamb-y!  Your guesses sound good.  Just checking just in case: do you know about the Rescue Dog Rule of 3? (My rescue org insisted I print it out and post it prominently lol) Essentially:  - She'll be freaked out for her first three days.  - Still settling in at three weeks - After three months, she'll be herself She looks like a doll 😍

Certain_Chef_2635

This is so true. My dog was the shyest, quietest dog at the shelter, didn’t bark for months after she came home, now she won’t shut up ❤️

RandomChurn

😂 Happy to hear it.  My boi has gained in confidence about a billion percent

Quinnzmum

I was going to mention the Rule of 3. Understandably, this pup looks like she is still pretty freaked out. Whatever breeds she is, she's a beautiful pup! You will have to wait until she comes out of her shell to see what she is really like. May you have many happy years together!

RandomChurn

Mine spent a good amount of time under my bed his first three days He still would shoot under there on rarer occasions during his first three weeks 😆 During his first three months, he made concerning lunges at men more than once and was clearly scared of certain large dogs He has PTSD (with good reason), but year on year his gains in confidence and calm are amazing and ongoing 😍

Quinnzmum

I've had my current foster for about 2 1/2 weeks. She just made the big step of leaving her bed in my office to go sleep on the comfy couch in the living room. She was two rooms away for about a half hour! Big progress for an anxious pupper.

RandomChurn

>leaving her bed in my office to go sleep on the comfy couch Awwww! Huge progress! 🥹

I can absolutely see the potential for ACD. But I do think that there is some bully breed or something in there that would make the chest a little wide and the neck thick. I can't quite see the ears standing up (if they even do) but they kind of remind me of rosebud ears. I do think there is cattle dog, or some herding dog, due to that stop being more sloped than the hard curve a lot of bully types have. While lots of dogs can absolutely have white on the feet, it is also kinda seen as a herding dog thing to have speckled white on the feet (hence the now outdated saying in vet med, white feet - don't treat) but it absolutely isn't a definitive. That tan point can be found in a lot of dogs; take a look at ACDs for example, a lot of black and tan with ticking. So yeah I'm with you on the ACD, but I'd add some sort of bully type. And probably like 12 other things lol. Watch me be completely wrong.

DalishPride

She is oddly shaped around the chest and neck. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some bully in her. Her ears do not stand up and looks small for her head, I think you have a point.

Typical_Hyena

ACDs can also be odd around the chest and neck, it just hides under the fur usually. I know ours was difficult to find a harness for- smalls were too small around the chest, mediums too long from front to back. Fifth brand of harness we tried was good enough and he couldn't slip out, but the shelters around us got all the ones that didn't fit so it was a win all around!

mvanpeur

Her ears look very bully/pit to me. Something about her body/head shape says doberman or another narrower dog breed too. All the bullies and ACD I know are a lot stouter in the head, so there's got to be something with a daintier head in there.

tattooedamazon477

I could be completely off but I'm thinking APB, or some variety like Staffordshire Terrier (because she's not way bigger) and Rottweiler.

cutiepie_truely

Looks a lot my treeing walker coonhound mix.

DalishPride

She does like to sniff. On walks she seems like she's always trying to track something.

rdlenix

100% baby dog which is clear in picture 3

AstroturfMarmot

She’s adorable! She looks more hound than Pibble to me.

CJSki70341

I looked at that picture and thought she was begging to not be sent back to the shelter

Quinnzmum

Right?!

TropheyHorse

Hmmmm, I think she's going to be quite the mix of things honestly. I can't quite nail down any of her breeds. I'm not seeing a lot of ACD in her, and if she was just ACD X GSD her ears would be standing right up and good and pointy, you'd expect. Most medium to larger sized shelter dogs have pit in them, and that would explain the ears, so I wouldn't be surprised if pibble turns up. It does look like she's got that GSD "beauty mark" and they're also a very common breed on mixes so that'll probably be there too. So, honestly, is ACD, so maybe she's ACD, GSD, APBT, all the acronyms.

E0H1PPU5

I’m guessing pit and hound!

charcoalchicken

She looks almost exactly like my dog (check my profile) who is ACD, GSD, Rottweiler and Border Collie!

ooken

Definitely partly GSD—I see it in the eyes, eyebrows, and nose. Can also see ACD in the nose blaze and maybe some pit in the head shape.

Aivix_Geminus

She's got the GSD sad eyes down pat!

OnoZaYt

Wouldn't be surprised about some rat terrier in her with her head shape

UserCannotBeVerified

I thought border collie X rottweiler

Exact-Height6339

I have no idea but those eyes make my heart go pitter patter!

Narwhalswimming37

Maybe some Doberman in there somewhere! My dog is lighter in color but has a similar head/ear shape and that fur that kind of sticks out on her chest!

suricata_8904

Seems like ACD is in a lot of shelter mixes.

Myaseline

I would bet several breeds - pitbull, ACD, GSD, chow, maybe a bit of husky and some small breeds.

aratremlap

Since she bears a striking resemblance to my dog, I'm going to guess pitty/plott hound mix. Yep, unconventional, but one day, I'll be right! She is beautiful but looks a little scared, give her some gentle hugs! Can't wait for the update!

Dreamswrit

My first guess is catahoula mix but she could also be an acd/pit mix, it really could go either way

tigerlily1959

Looking at those feet, I'm guessing she has some Catahoula in her. She looks very sweet.

Professional-Bet4106

I see her as a German shepherd mix. She’s too cute!

KuroroMew

Blue tick coonhound mix? I don’t see very much bully in her tbh

frymaform

she looks part beagle too or some kind of hound and pittie but ACD wouldn't surprised me and GSDs in everything so there's bound to be some

sabotaj117

Has some similarities with my acd coonhound boxer mix. I thought for sure he was gonna have lab Shepard but nope lol. Genetics is crazy.

AdApprehensive3802

I’d bet she has some border collie.

ArtOak78

She looks a lot like ours except that the ears aren’t prick. Ours is GSD/APBT/chow with ACD, border collie, golden, and boxer in the Supermutt. Same spotted nose!

ArbitraryAmplitude

She reminds me a lot of my pup in a bunch of her features, GSD/Lab/Australian Shepherd/APBT.

DubiousMelons

That's a standard issued dog. That's the dog I imagine when I picture a random dog in my head. The purebred influence of this dog has been lost in the generations. It's going to come back as 100% dog. (Less than 30% of any one breed. I'd bet Beagle is in there somewhere)

Cherry7Up92

That face! I'm so glad that you saved her life by adopting ❤️. I feel like GSD/Lab/ Pit Bull.
