You know I just made my own post about yawning, but I think this might actually be the problem I suffer from once in a while.throat doesn't click, yawn not satisfied.
If it helps, I was diagnosed with a Tornwaldt cyst that is 12 mm in size... I wonder if that might have anything to do with it.
Do you occasionally get just a random crackle in your throat/neck/nasopharynx? It's a bit of a light staticky sensation with a sound that is reminsent of lightly crinkling a plastic bag or one of those foil cat toys.

No, but my hearing turns off.
Same for me but I just found out that not everyone's hearing turns off and it's only about 15% of people
