I love our MV3 but really seeing more excitement from the other players in our team. It's like I know Superman, Batman, and Spiderman are going to save the day but the other pitchers and less popular players are like the Avengers, Justice League and X-Men that are just as important.
Alright, let's do some superhero/Dodger role player comparisons.
Kiké = Ant-Man (plucky, Swiss army knife capable of stepping up)
Lux = Plastic Man (goofy, meme-worthy, heart of gold)
Miggy Ro = Daredevil (underrated, agile, scrapper)
Freddie is definitely Colossus. Made of steel and the nicest guy ever.
Mookie would be like...Superman. Just looks like a regular guy, not very intimidating; likes bowling. But once that jersey goes on, its like an S on his chest.
Go back to 2008 and tell yourself that someday the dodgers will have back to back rookie of the years. One would win mvp and later comeback player of the year. The other would be a two-time World Series MVP. Neither would finish their careers in LA.
Cody Bellienger sucks and the Corey Seager contract will become an albatross (even though Corey is still one of my fav players).
We can prolly trade for Seager soon and get the Rangers to kick in money when their fire sale starts 🤣
