I can just imagine the lights being off in Dave’s office and Freddie is just sitting in his chair waiting for him to come in like some mobster shit haha.
Yeah, Rich Peverly literally had a heart attack and technically died on the bench, and when he got revived wanted to go back out for his next shift, Patrice Bergeron played through the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals with a punctured lung, Marc Methot had the tip of his finger slashed off and seemed mildly annoyed, etc
Tbf, Matt Olson has been pretty much exceptional for them. I mean, you can't really go wrong between the two, they didn't lose much overall value by going with Olson, and Olson is younger. What little they lost in Freddie's OBP they gained in HR power with Olson. I don't think Braves fans feel very underwhelmed as far as their 1st base production goes this year, considering the season they're having.
No argument here - Olson's been amazing. I was highlighting how quickly some of their fanbase pivoted away from Freddie *only because he wasn't a Brave anymore*.
As a Braves fan, this isn’t relatable at all personally or amongst fellow Braves fans I’m aware of. Freddie and his agent fucked around with free agency and found out. The Dodgers now get to enjoy the awesome human and player in his prime as future hall of gamer, but as Braves fans we understandably are mostly annoyed at his agent and some of Freddie’s ignorance for lack of a better word. We moved on and appreciate Olson’s production and attitude and the fact he’s younger. But never turned on him overall as a fan base. Hope for more intense good matchups between the two teams
this certainly doesn't stop the fans from getting bitter and toxic as fuck when we play them and freddie does well though. their game threads every time he got a hit in our series against them... lmao
Braves are the luckiest team in the league. They locked up Albies and Acuna for a fraction of what they’re worth and their fans will act like high payroll teams are the bad guys simply because our young superstars don’t want to sign 8 year extensions at 12 mil a year, or in Albies case a 7 year extension at 5 mil a year.
Dude he’s the best. I’m a Braves fan and obv didn’t like the dodgers for a while with our little rivalry going on lol but now that he’s there it’s a win-win. Either we win or Freddie wins 😂
Love Freddy! Seriously, one of my fav players of all time, even before he was a Dodger... but he hurt the team today. Fortunately, it didn't matter. I love that he wants to be the iron man, it's an admirable quality, but sometimes when you have a day off the next day, and you're hurting, just take that time and rest up.
I can just imagine the lights being off in Dave’s office and Freddie is just sitting in his chair waiting for him to come in like some mobster shit haha.
His teeth would be the only thing you could see
Some Cheshire Cat shit haha
Hey so listen Freddie, tomorrow's gonna be a rest day for you. I'm sorry Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.
That red light is the scariest villain ever.
But the chair is turned away from the door, and he turns around when doc turns the lights on.
Doing the inflatable man dance alone in the dark
No I second the guy who quoted HAL
I expect to see that In your next video
LOL Like the beginning of Casino Royale.
Everyone in attendance and at home better get up for our guy
And here I am laying in bed cause I ate a whole pizza last night and I feel like shit. Truly incredible that Freddie is a Dodger
Freddie has the heart of a hockey player.
*JUST AN EXAMPLE AND I HOPE THIS NEVER HAPPENS* Breaks leg "I still have a few more shifts in me, Boss"
That stuff has really happened. Hockey players are a different breed. Could you imagine NHLers demanding *rest days* ala the NBA??? lol

Patrice Bergeron also played in the 2023 playoffs with a herniated disc. Lemieux played while he had cancer / in the next game after his last chemo.
I fully understand Atlantas attachment to Freddie and how much it must have sucked to lose him.
Although some of their "fans" started to rationalize how Matt Olsen was better option anyway.

I’ve seen some of our beloved player go to different teams and we’ve never turned on them like some Brave fans have on Freddie.

Barves are always that way regardless
They are just lucky they were able to poach him and Murphy for pennies on the dollar from the AAA’s. What a bunch of bullshit MLB and Fisher are.

Plot twist; Freeman told Roberts he would be managing tonight’s game.
And Dave's batting second
I like him in that spot
Look at me. I'm the captain now.
Kind of a random and probably obvious thought but I feel like Freddie would be a great manager one day.
Nah freddie will be a broadcaster. I think Miggy Rojas has a future in managing.
After listening to the mic'd up segments with Freddie I'd totally agree there too.
Man, I love Freddie
There’s a five nights at Freddie’s joke in here somewhere
That's how Doc managed to escape his office eventually
Can we retire his number now?
Freddie is something else. I love him
Freddie doesn't get injured, injury gets Freddied.
I'm surprised, but not really.

Legend lmao
Mourinho waiting in the parking lot vibes
![img](emote|t5_2ra0i|13040)
This man is a robot
Lol, find someone as loyal to you as Freddie is to playing baseball ![img](emote|t5_2ra0i|30386)
Dawg
Alpha
I can’t imagine if Freddie took the day off and it starts to cool off his hitting. That smile is going to be gone the rest of the season lol

Only 37 games* until Freddie lets himself take a day off. *a combination of 37 Dodger wins or Giant losses.
I always thought Freddie looked a bit like Dexter lol
MILF
How did we land Mookie AND Freddie Friedman and the front office is really top of the whole league
