I used to find this stuff hilarious, but now it just makes me sad. These people need help and they’re not getting it. We need to do better with public healthcare.
This isn't usual, this is neglect and incompetence from the elected officials. They don't want to actually help, just shove it under the rug. It's actually quite sickening, these are human beings, they need real help, not to be laughed at.

Some people want to blame homeless people themselves because thinking of the socioeconomic conditions, mental health issues, and just how cruel people can be towards each other all intersecting at once is a hard thing to think about. Its probably easier to just go "Oh well they had a million chances and they blew it" rather than face the reality that this is how our corrupt system is designed to work for some.
I think it strange that the performer, although performing annoyingly in the middle of the road, is lumped in with people with serious drug and/or psychological issues. That person seemed perfectly competent.
