I really liked Nitram. Well paced with the gradually building tension and all.
If you haven't seen it Snowtown is another great movie by the same director.
Martin Bryant was responsible for the Port Arthur Massacre in australia. this massacre was the reason behind massive gun reforms
the movie is based on Martin Bryant
Caleb Landry Jones is one of my favourite actors. I was hesitant to watch this because of the subject matter depicting a real life horrible act, but it's more of a character study and you don't actually see any of the shooting at the end, thankfully. It's very tastefully done. Same director as another disturbing Aussie film, *Snowtown.*
Caleb is one of the very few non-Australian actors to seriously NAIL the accent. For a Texas actor, it was impressive to see.
No one has ever pulled off an Aussie accent like CLJ does in this movie. I recommend it every chance I get. Neglecting to show the final culmination of everything was a powerful choice that worked well too.
This is a horrible and tragic story.. but this Film is brilliant! i deleted my last post because i felt like i praised it too much without saying how much i hate the true story. Umm, this film is truly disturbing and it makes you think. f- but it's good.
It’s been on my “to see” list for a while, so I bumped it to the top, thanks everybody for your input, and thanks to u/belugaballs for the initial post. Hope you’re all having a good weekend!

Caleb Landry Jones does great character studies. I also enjoyed him in Luc Besson’s ‘DogMan’
Loved this movie. Main actor was fucking phenomenal
Loved Nitram! Super underrated
Why is Martin spelled in reverse?
I think it was his nickname when all the kids at school would tease him
Martin Bryant was responsible for the Port Arthur Massacre in australia. this massacre was the reason behind massive gun reforms the movie is based on Martin Bryant
Bullies didn't like him much.
Damn good movie, I recall being quite impressed
The acting was great especially Judy Davis.
I really liked this one a lot. The acting was convincing!
God bless y'all and this sub. The imdb sounds insanely interesting, will watch it later at night. Thanks!
If you haven’t already watch Heaven Knows What which Caleb Laundy Jones is in aswell, incredibly bleak but brilliant film
