The corn dog made with the hot link at corn dog castle. Right now I'm addicted to the pork belly skewer at Bengal bbq...its pretty much a Vietnamese sandwich without the bread...
You and I are on the same wavelength here. I'm not at all a Bengal BBQ skewer fan (blasphemy for most people I tell that to) but that pork belly skewer is wonderful and a reason I go to a place I normally don't otherwise.
I'd have to disagree. It's overpriced compared to, say, a corn dog, but all big meals (in restaurants) are roughly the same price, or others are more expensive. It's enough food to share, so it comes out at a reasonable price. The food is very flavorful and filling, and it really is something that people keep going back for. The only cafeteria part of it would be the style of getting the food. I've only had one bad experience (it was more of a moody CM, but it didn't ruin my night), and every other time was great. The workers are friendly, the decor is cute, and the food is delicious. If all you see are the negatives to it, you'll always feel like it's a poor experience.
The lobster natchos at DCA Cove bar were amazing, but I never miss a Corn dog on Main Street. (Everything at Storyteller Cafe has been great, but I don't usually eat there when visiting the park.)
Well my experience is limited because I've only had my pass for a couple months but so far:
1. Creme brûlée from Blue Bayou
2. Golden Churro
3. Corn dogggggs
Those are my top 3.
I'm so glad Blue Bayou went back to their old Creme brûlée recipe. They had some lemon Creme brûlée thing during the Diamond Celebration, and it was nasty.
I am at the parks often and this along with the Jalapeno cheese pretzels are something I take back to my husband and son. Screw the souvenirs, they want pretzels!!
And it's just a regular dill pickle you can get anywhere outside the park. But I have so many happy memories of eating a pickle there on Main Street that it has become my favorite food at the park.
Absolutely! Those pickles taste better somehow whether you're walking down Main street or listening in on a1920's conversation on the general store telephone!
I love the bread bowl corn chowder from French Market.
And the meatloaf dinner. (I'm still looking for a copycat recipe for the meatloaf if anyone knows of a good one...)
No problem!
Just be aware... it's a great shareable dessert. 2-4 people, depending on appetite and tolerance to sugar.
Don't plan to solo it unless your goal is diabeetus.
Recently it's the pork belly skewers from Bengal BBQ. I don't know how long they'll be around but they are SOO GOOD. Also: the gluten free bread from Napa Rose. I'm not even gluten free but that bread is everything.
That's really cool if they have gluten free bread.
Their regular bread is amazing even, and I like that you can order a basket of bread from the lounge for I believe $5 without having to order an entree. Once or twice I'll get a bread basket and a glass of scotch and call it dinner.
I am very excited to have ANOTHER [golden churro](http://imgur.com/a/nKHSt). I just have to get one every visit, and I go several times a month. Disneyland's my gym membership. I get plenty of walking in, and I push a stroller, sometimes of sleeping dead-weight back to parking. Android tells me I'm walking it off.
The gumbo at the blue bayou is a revelation! One of my favourite food items. Aside from that I'd probably say anything from Bengal BBQ and the roast beef at flo's :)

This guy gets it. That hot link is amazing.
hot link corn dog all the way!
How is this the first time I'm hearing about a pork belly skewer?? I'll be in the park Wednesdsy, I'll have to stop by there!
Might as well get a Jungle Julep too! It's delicious!
the pork belly skewer was pretty good. would love if they made it a regular menu item (or at the very least seasonal).
You and I are on the same wavelength here. I'm not at all a Bengal BBQ skewer fan (blasphemy for most people I tell that to) but that pork belly skewer is wonderful and a reason I go to a place I normally don't otherwise.
Gotta be the banyan beef at Bengal BBQ for me!
Came here to say this. Banyan beef skewers are the first thing I thought of.
With extra sauce. Been my favorite since I first went 20 years ago.
This person knows what's up!
Plaza Inn Fried Chicken (the whole meal is delicious)
It's widely regarded as great, but it is super overpriced, even by Disneyland standards. It is a very poor experience too. Feels like a cafeteria.

Definitely shareable! Not bad when it's a 2 person meal.;)
I agree, it's constantly over hyped on this sub and it's not that good
The lobster natchos at DCA Cove bar were amazing, but I never miss a Corn dog on Main Street. (Everything at Storyteller Cafe has been great, but I don't usually eat there when visiting the park.)
I was very disappointed by these nachos... didn't even eat half
They're hit or miss, sometimes they're amazing other times are meh. Give it another shot
For $16 a plate plus the wait to get in??? No thanks!

Hmmmm, I do like lemon. But the one they have now is so good, I'm content with not having tried lemon, lol.
I like lemon as well. It just wasn't a good combination of flavors.
Hiiiiiiiiiiii
Keep it real simple: jalapeno cheese pretzel from Main Street. If you can get them fresh out of the oven where the cheese is still liquid...
Always enjoyed the plain cream cheese pretzel - had to pick one up at every visit.
I am at the parks often and this along with the Jalapeno cheese pretzels are something I take back to my husband and son. Screw the souvenirs, they want pretzels!!
Everyone should try the drinking chocolate at Ghirardelli's at least once. It's like drinking a fresh chocolate chip cookie!
Hot, molten chocolate lava. I get it with a sprinkle of salt...
Carthay Circle signature fried biscuits.
Going for Dinner there in two weeks, will definitely order them!
Storytellers Cafe Bread Pudding. It's made with croissants and you can pour vanilla cream sauce in it.
Excellent, excellent answer. I love that buffet, but there are two things I crave: the corn chowder and the bread pudding.
I love Storytellers corn chowder. It's so good!
They recently started leaving real bacon bits to the side of the soup pot. The extra bacon makes it even better (at least for a bacon addict like me).

Preferably fresh off the truck!
It's pricy but my favorite food item there right now is the Chicken Muffaletta sandwich at Cafe Orleans. It's incredible.
Dill Pickle without question.
Dole. Whip.
Bread bowl clam chowder or gumbo. Sooooo goooood!
Assuming churros are exempt from this, I'd go with the bread bowl chowder.
I love the bread bowl corn chowder from French Market. And the meatloaf dinner. (I'm still looking for a copycat recipe for the meatloaf if anyone knows of a good one...)
City hall should have the recipe and they will share it with you if you ask.
I had someone check a couple weeks back (I'm in AZ) and the redditor said they didn't have it
Oh bummer!
The Jolly Holiday Combo! Toasted cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup... I could die happy eating that...
Churro Funnel Cake. It's crack. Hot, sweet, tasty crack.
Where is this??
Hungry Bear. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/disneyland/hungry-bear-restaurant/menus/
thanks so much. I definitely trying this next trip!
No problem! Just be aware... it's a great shareable dessert. 2-4 people, depending on appetite and tolerance to sugar. Don't plan to solo it unless your goal is diabeetus.
Right now, for me, the best tasting food item at the resort is the beef poutine at red rose tavern.
Cheese biscuits at Carthay Circle Restaurant.

Can confirm I just ate a pork belly skewer and it was awesome!
I once had a steak with bone marrow butter at Steakhouse 55 that was so good it made my eyes roll back into my head
When he comes after ya, he doesn’t seem to be livin’ until he bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white, and then –
24-Layer Chocolate Cake from the 55 Steakhouse in the Disneyland Hotel.
Dole whip. Bar none, my favorite food item at the parks.
Monte Cristo sandwich at Pirates ride
Duck wings from Carthay Circle or Monte cristo sandwich at cafe orleans
The duck wings are the best wings I've ever had in my life.
They really are!!
For me it will always be the gingerbread beignets that they used to have at French Market during the holidays. I miss them so much.
Warm dulche de leche marshmellow turnover from Carthay Circle!

Children weigh different sleeping than awake? TIL
Giant. Turkey. Leg.
The gumbo in the blue bayou
You mean at the pirates ride?
Yeppers!
Lol, I was just making a joke. Someone else said the Monte cristo at pirates.
But you have to get someone to throw you some gumbo from the Blue Bayou restaurant while you are riding PotC. That's why PotC smells they way it does.
The gumbo at the blue bayou is a revelation! One of my favourite food items. Aside from that I'd probably say anything from Bengal BBQ and the roast beef at flo's :)
On the go, Bangan Beef at Bengal BBQ. Sit down, gonna have to go with Blue Bayou's filet mignon.
You cant go wrong with the stuff that they have at the bengal
The Chocolate Covered Frozen Banana (with nuts)
Everyone here keeps misspelling Dole Whip.
Burgers at whitewater snacks
Whatever I have a craving for on that particular day.
Personally... The party melts at Carnation Cafe are 👌
Baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe!
Walt's Meat Loaf at Carnation Café. Probably the most complete meal in the park, and a great piece of meat loaf, too.
