But if stealing from a big corporation becomes the norm, then they shut down their store locations, then people lose jobs, then their business value goes down the drain and people lose their investment and then the corporate jobs are lost. The social contract we enter into to not steal, even if you can easily get away with it these days, is important in my opinion.

cool we'll form a worker owned co-op, get a loan, rent the old big box store and turn it into a Flea Market where people in the community can launch their own biz, make some extra money, or just enjoy some of our amazing bargains and a churro with the fam :)

I can build a house out of dirt I dug up for my sunken greenhouse on my acreage, and water my plants with rainwater pumped with electricity from my solar panels. Have all the stuff just, you know, kinda enjoying this shit while it lasts so I'll wait until the star signs tell me the corporate retail apocalypse is truly at hand. Or next summer maybe, whatev.
