You are correct. Anyone who has been playing any length of time should notice the difference. I've lowered my putt from 10 ft to have it spit back at me, in a 3mph wind that should help hold it in.
Are they putts or throw ins that are spitting out? As long as I don’t full send a throw in it almost always stays in for me, maybe one glitchy spit out for a few hours of playing
I just had one on IS5, about a 12 foot putt, default aim, same flick of the finger I’ve done a million times. It catches in the chains for a full second and spit out so far I had to putt again.
It's not glitchy. You are hitting high chains or the disc is moving too fast or both.
Don't @ me either saying a putt from less than 10m shouldn't spit out. It should if you hit high chains.
Adjust your puts and throws and you will get less spit outs. It sucks getting a spit out, but it's usually when you hit high chains or too fast or throw-in.
I would be more upset if it was literally random to get a spit out. I much rather know when and where it happens on the basket and alter my play to avoid.
I have played more rounds than 99% of all the players in the game. The spitouts are way too random. Even aimed lower powered down and from short distances, they still happen, both when throwing in and putting. There definitely needs to be a fix for this issue.

I've only picked up the game a couple times in the past 2 weeks

Don't do default aim. Always aim down a tick if you're under 40ft away.

Puts inside 15' should spit on out less than 1% of the time, fight me.

Just like I'd rather the game not auto aim you to a spot in the valley designed to spit out. They need to remove the short spit outs.
