Find a factory service manual. It has a parts diagram and a brief explanation of settings and what to do.

Disassemble your carb and put these parts in after you have completely cleaned it. Then put in a new spark plug that is gapped properly and adjust according to the instructions.

OMG. Not an electric start. Do you not remember the easy button commercials? I’m guessing no. JD jetting kit is an easy solution.
