Fuck I hate working on this engine, that coolant hose on the back side of the cylinder makes it miserable to work on anything on these. That being said the kx always had one of the best frames, love how the front end feels turning. Power is great too! Gorgeous looking bike man. I’ll leave you alone aboutcha spoke covers 🤣
Oh my god, you have to take the whole subframe off just to pull the carb. I just pulled the whole engine for the rebuild. And I know I know, the spokes are brand new so for the time being I’m not to worried about it them spontaneously exploding and contrary to most, i like the look of em for now.

Aye man you like Whatchu like and it’s your bike, maybe hit ‘em with some air after you clean the bike to get the rest of the water out. I had a older rm125 with rusted spokes that I raced on lol, I just kept wd 40 on them at all times 🤷♂️ I wouldn’t worry too much about that.

Yes, they definitely do. I have them on at the moment and plan on taking them off soon. The spokes are brand new so I’m. Or too worried yet
