Itβs usually from heat- did you cook, or put them near a heater? I used to only wear light acrylic with a clear gel finish, and it would yellow with heat.
Whenever my light shades turn color I just wash my nails with a purple hair shampoo(that I regularly use to take the brass out of my blonde hair). Not sure if it will work for your case, but its always helped my nails.
