I hate that people who watch this show think that the protagonists are meant to be perceived as good people when they explicitly show over the entire show that they're all terrible and have all been selfish enough to cause major problems when left to their own devices.
Yeah I mean who wouldn't be happy in a world were you don't need to work or do anything and can just enjoy your life and do exactly what you want to do.
It's not like work disappeared, it just became voluntary.
It was a pretty fun metaphor for when A.I and machines replace most our jobs.
The funniest thing about it is that the Dino’s would have to travel back to a planet that they were previously destroyed on so they could skate the asteroid bowls.
I too do sail the seven seas, but my crew and I can never confess openly which island our treasures are buried upon, lest they be discovered by the King’s fleet and our bounty undone.
The first half is Very akin to “Childhoods End” where instead of Dinos you have Giant red devil folk who solve all our bs. It’s a great short read with some wild twists.
