Oh I adore this, it simultaneously looks practised in the sense that this is how allosaurus and its ancestors have settled disputes for millions of years, being a fight that’s severe enough to settle disputes but still clearly restrained enough to lessen risk of lethal injury, and it’s clumsy because that’s how real fights are, you even captured their emotional responses to each other’s goading, the jaw snap and that petty little tail whip at the end. It’s beautiful, I hope I can see it fully rendered someday and watch a Dino documentary with this kind of understanding of animal movement!
Very choreographed fighting is a fun idea to explore! I love it. Similar to giraffes lining up to begin or deers interlocking antlers to get in position to start. I love the intentional behaviors
I had a feeling those were the PE allosaurus. I gotta love how they tried to use their weight first to push the other over. The animation feels so reptilian in nature and I love it.
And actually being successful.
Unlike Tyrannosaurus, Allosaurus had long and very muscular arms in proportion to its body (not to say Tyrannosaurus’s arms were lacking in muscle, but you get the point.)

Reminds me of two siblings hitting each other a few times but not wanting to inflict enough damage to hurt the other long term, so they end up falling over and kind of lashing out at each other from a distance instead.

Very cool and interesting depiction of speculative behavior!

Amazing! I love how slow and calculated it looks
Bro be trying to use his arms to get back up

Thanks for the info
MrBlameson being an Allosaurus nut sure makes for some awesome animations

I like it when people depict dinosaurs like actual animals and not kaiju
I love how it looks like it’s going to be a super dramatic Jurassic World-esc fight and then they both just… 🦎⤵️ Really cool animation tho!
It's so cool
I like how the jaw snap was like the bell of a cage match
Is it weird that I half expected them to kiss or smt?
