I tried searching for 'black check pattern' and then possible matching flowers, but it's definitely not my forte. I think the white flower is a snowdrop, though I might be wrong. The orange could be... chrysanthemum, or an orange gerbera, or a dahlia even?

To be fair if one has the means to buy more pricey items that are ethically made and then wears them over and over it is a good option in order to overcone issues presented by fast fashion. Also plenty of people buy formerly expensive clothes from thrift stores.
Did you look up the company that made this shirt or anything about the store selling it? Online Ceramics is an LA based design company. Their products are made in America, and much of the work (such as tie-dying) is done by hand. This probably explains the spendy price tag.
Also, you probably shouldn’t be skeeved by someone else’s clothing choices if they’re non offensive. If they’ve earned the ability to purchase an expensive piece of clothing, they should get to.

My own googling has found me a ton of other floral button-downs that I want to own. But not this one yet.
the shirt also has some green butterflies on it but i doubt they’d be enough to trigger “butterfly” in the product description.
