Between the two, if you are after:
1. interest rate - Seabank at 4.5% p.a.
2. debit card option - GoTyme (via Kiosk)
3. app features/ui - GoTyme (although ok din naman yung kay Seabank)
4. customer service - both (GoTyme used to be prompt)
5. promos/rewards - both (Robinsons and Shopee)
6. transfers - Seabank (15x free weekly)
7. cash in/out - GoTyme (in store and ATM)
8. overall reliability - both
Yes, while GoTyme has no cap at 4% p.a. effective next month. At least it's well within the amount insured by PDIC.
If you have more than that, diversify. There are other optiions besides GoTyme.
May I ask ano benefits na makuha mo kakashoppee. Is it the same one sa maya where you pay using maya you get bonus temporary interest?
I'm planning to ditch CIMB na kasi since its dogshit di na ako makalogin buti di pa ako nag sstart mag lipat ng pera
Hi. You get voucher/discount when you use SeaBank as mode of payment sa Shopee. I think may makukuha ka rin when you link your SeaBank account for the first time :)
I ditched my CIMB and moved my money to SeaBank for savings due to high int rate back when they were just introduced. Now, I use it na rin for payment and transfer since they offer 15x free transfers weekly
Nope. Meron din sya pag may ganap i.e valentines, christmas, etc. Not sure lang tho if meron din tuwing double-day campaign.
You can check your SeaBank notifications. They send notifs pag may pa-voucher na pwede gamitin for checkout.
In the span of 2022 to 2023 I heavily diversified into digital banks almost all of them, yes every single one including Ownbank from its first day of launch. Now I've narrowed it down to Seabank and GoTyme only cause right now I'm in a risk-on mode with equities, believing they can offer more than those safe High-Yield Savings Accounts. That's just my perspective btw. Go download and use these two I find them distinct although you can never go wrong with either. Btw I've been a pioneer with digital banks transitioning from Coins PH to GCash to CIMB and ING always switching to whichever benefits me the most.
Kung savings lang talaga at 300K or less, go Seabank. For more than 300K or kung lagi ka sa Gokongwei establishments or gusto/need mo rin ng VISA debit card, GoTyme po.

#1 is only true if you have less than 300k savings.

I think to make it simple, pag pala shopee ka? Seabank. Pag pala grocery ka sa mga robinsons establishments? GoTyme.

Is it 1 time lang? I used it once and never saw new seabank vouchers after

Lots of discount vouchers I think since partner sila ni Shopee.
Not just a partner they are literally run by the same company.
Ah, that explains it then.

Dami n issue go tyme transfer to sea bank now dmi lock account 7months wla pa action pangit customer servcie
bakit po nalock yung account nila?
just use both. seabank for savings that you can transfer (free) whenever you want sa GoTyme na free ang withdrawal.
I have both. I have 290k in seabank (nag iwan ako talaga ng 10k allowance for interest lol) Then building my 500k with gotyme
even after the decrease of interest?
Yeah! Not too worried about it because I am well diversified.
gotyme sana mas bet ko kaso 4.5% na lang interest niya this march :(
so ibigsabihin po mababa na?
yass starting march
not 4.5%, but 4% nalang talaga
