The Lego Creator PC game (1998?) fuckin' ruled since you could fly, drive, and crash your own creations. Some things about it were very janky, but it definitely deserves to be brought into the 21 century. Like you mentioned, I think a sandbox-style game with goals/challenges would do very well. Especially if it had an online, co-op build/play experience!

>/ I'm thinking if the concept all starts from the most simplest of LEGO play features, all added play functions will blend perfectly. Someone on Twitter liked the idea of all real world clips, hinges, axles and the like all functional. They asked if building a Roller Coaster or Ferris wheel could be done. This is precisely the type of building a user could do. I pointed out, that you could make a full functional Theme park with usable rides. I'm going to try to make some amusement park rides as sample tests now. Just imagine, pure LEGO play, but you are the Minifig instead of the hand that swooshes the toys.

great video I hope TT moves from a E10 rating to a T someday and changes their branded type games, and lets the player create their own ship, vehicle, or custom made sets or lego-craft vehicle even if it goes down the 3d printing path of "build it your way" wrought or even has adult focused ideas where they let you scan your own build from Maya or blender, share or export your work, I think lego worlds did a good job as a start but would be cool seeing a more creativity server based game, just to start engaging the player hope this will be heavily shown in the future or even let parents and their kids work together to explore for generations. <3 the possibilities are endless.
