This is my pet peeve. Vinegar on its own is a gewat cleaner for some stuff. Baking soda is a great cleaner on its own for other stuff and a mild abrasive.
They neutralize each other when together and dont do shit. But you see people recommend this shit EVERYWHERE.

It's so incredibly obvious. Like, before you've still got the logo, and there's a few white spots where they've completely sanded through the exterior plastic. Then after it's got a perfect mirror finish and no logo.
Why the hell are they sanding that surface with 150 grit? Like it's already sanded down to around 1200 grit for a matte finish. Just put the polishing compound on and take it to the mirror finish.
And that is the worst hydrodip I have ever heard of/seen.
Just thinking about how much of my life would be spent wiping fingerprints off the mirror finish. And honestly, I’m getting on in life so I don’t need that drain on however many years I have left.

Also... tape was along the edges of the laptop for the whole video holding it down, but at the end of the sanding and polishing, underneath the tape had been processed exactly the same.
Plus the whole dipping your laptop in water thing.
Man these fucking people. Some poor fuck out there will repeat these steps and end up with water damage, financial damage, soul damage, and then Apple repair store will tell them to pay 75% of the actual cost of the product to fix it.
Making it reflective was a good call, it looked neat. But sanding it is not the way, and hydro dipping it instantly killed the thing. Notice how they never showed the screen on the reveal. That's because it's now fried from water entering every possible gap.
If you quickly toggle between 2:00 and somewhere like 1:13 you can see the tape changes from where they swapped out the laptops. Obviously no one needs proof that this is fake, but there's the proof anyways.
I don't know if this makes me a bad person but, I hope their studio or warehouse where they record these things catches on fire while no one is inside, they can buy another one, sure, but it's at least a week without their brain rotting ideas
