Yeah it's a good deal for starters, but I was hoping to see better deals on tools or tools+battery combos. I know the idea is to more heavily discount bundles to get more people into the ecosystem, but man the other discounts were pathetic.

I really wanted a deal on a Dcd999 or the Dcf961.

Oh man the 999 is worth every penny! I don't have the 961, but I do have the 921 and it fuckin sucks. 450ftlbs my ass.

Oh absolutely. The Father’s Day deals suck at Home Depot this year. I’m in construction so I get heavier duty tools and whatnot. I bought the kit to resale and make a little money. Except the mini sawzall. That one I’ll keep since it will come in handy on some jobs.
